pumpkin spice lattes, anyone?
Source: Pinterest
Fall is my favorite. Autumn leaves. No humidity. Fleece. Boots. Vests. I am obsessed with anything pumpkin flavored and I can drink my chai lattes hot again. These are a few inspirational looks that I will be channeling once I can finally break in my new denim jeans and leggings. They come directly from my Pinterest, where I spend a lot of my downtime pinning quotes, fashion, recipes, and other random things! My fall wardrobe must-haves include some of these items:
1. Stripes
You know those striped shirts you bought for the summer? Well throw on an over-sized sweater and incorporate it into your fall looks. In the first photo, you can see how comfy she looks! The stripes go perfectly with any outfit and especially with a larger, boxy sweater.
2.Plaid and Polka Dots
Plaid is an essential fall pattern. In this look, the model is mixing prints. I think this trend is super fun and a great way to use the most out of clothes you already own! You don’t have to buy something to match–you can just put the two together.
3. Puffer Vests
So if you are the type of girl who likes to resemble a walking J Crew ad (like myself) when the fall time comes, you know about the importance of wearing vests! I can not afford spending a lot on vests simply because I love a good bargain, so a lot of mine come from Old Navy or Forever 21. I actually found some at JC Penny under the Joe Fresh line that I love! Now they are on sale for $14.99.
Whether its an over-sized watch (I love this tiger eye one!), bangles, or a necklace- statement pieces are a trend that continue to seep into stores everywhere. I love a good shiny accessory. From gold, to rose gold, to silver, the way a necklace or bracelet can add some extra glamour into a look is a fashion forward approach to creating the perfect outfit.
Are you looking forward to the cooler weather? Let me know what your favorite season is in the comments down below! Thanks so much for reading.
