Good Monday Morning, friends! I know that a lot of you may live in cold climates, and as the weather shifts from fall to winter so should your skincare products. In order to maintain smooth and quenched skin it’s important to keep it hydrated. I’ve collected a list of some of my go-to products that I personally use in order to keep my skin looking hydrated! From moisturizers to masks, read more to find out what brands I love to use during the colder months.
BEST FACE MOISTURIZERS:
1. Urban Decay Chill Makeup Setting Spray // this product is for the finishing touch on your morning makeup routine, or for added hydration throughout the day. It is sold in a large bottle for $30 that will last all year.
2. bareMinerals complexion rescue tinted hydrating gel cream // one of my favorite brands recently brought out a new line of hydrating tinted gel creams in lots of flattering colors! It’s supposed to give sheer-to-medium coverage and has marine botanicals to boost hydration. It has SPF 30, too.
3. Clinique Moisturizing Cream // this not only has skin-strengthening ingredients but is extremely hydrating for even the driest of skin days. I like how it goes on slick and sinks into your skin very quickly. This one is also $14.50.
BEST FACE MASKS FOR HYDRATING SKIN:
1. Origins Drink Up Intense Hydrating Mask // this mask is perfect for a night in. Apply a generous layer all over your skin and leave it on overnight. Avocado and Apricot Kernel Oils will work together to increase hydration in your skin and repair the skin’s barrier to prevent future dehydration. It is $25 and is sold at Dillards, Nordstrom, in other major department stores, and also online.
2. Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Overnight hydrating mask // this pick helps retain moisture in the skin and will work for all skin types. It is free of harsh chemicals, too. Use this for added moisture and long-lasting hydration all day.
3. Burt’s Bees Intense Hydrating Mask // this inexpensive pick is great for increasing moisture in the skin and is 99% natural. It will make your face feel smooth and renewed.
BEST HAND CREAMS FOR DRY SKIN:
1. Aveda Hand Relief // not only is mint very festive for the winter, but the combination of peppermint and rosemary is a classic Aveda scent. It reminds me of getting a hair cut or a massage which is just lovely! This hand cream provides a ton of great benefits to your hands that may become chapped during the holidays. Just grab this lotion and you’ll smell just like you had a spa day.
2. Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream // this drugstore product is from another brand that I love. I use the Cetaphil face wash every morning and night to remove makeup and dirt from my skin. This cream will not clog pores and is fragrance-free.
