Spring Budget Finds for Under $50-$100
Photos By: Taylor Prinsen Photography
I’ve posted a few outfit looks from my trip to Austin on the blog already, but honestly, I’ve saved the best for last! I did enjoy shooting my $5 H&M pleated skirt look, but there was something special about this outfit that I fell in love with as soon as created the finished version.
While out shopping at the huge Simon mall called The Domain, I entered Zara where I spotted this navy and blush pink lace skirt. I joked with my sister and best friend that this skirt pretty much sums up my personality! It would also be an ideal color scheme for my wedding down the line, too. Navy and blush pink and two of my absolute favorite colors to wear and I seem to gravitate toward picking out items with at least one of those colors in them.
While scouting out locations to shoot this look, Taylor was inspired by a blue door she saw as we walked through the campus. I freaked out when I saw how massive the blue door was and immediately felt like I was in Paris! As soon as I mentioned Paris, Taylor divulged that she was planning a trip to the beautiful city in a few months and that definitely made me super excited for her!
For now, I’ll look back at these photos and think about how much the location resembles Paris until I visit the city myself one day. My pearl-embellished BERET needs to see the city of lights, right?!

A blush pair from Forever 21 under $25 is just the right amount to spend on heels. If you don’t have a lot in your budget to invest in many trends for spring 2018, consider browsing their site for cute inexpensive finds, like these heels, this year.
I styled them with a feminine navy and blush pink lace skirt here, but you can easily style them with slouchy girlfriend (yes, girlfriend jeans are the NEW boyfriend jeans!) jeans and a pretty polka dot top. That way you can feel comfy wearing such a statement item like crushed velvet heels during the daytime.
