White jeans are something I never wore throughout high school, college, and even now as a young adult. To this day, I believe I’ve owned a total of 2 pairs of white jeans in my 25 years of shopping. Truthfully, I was inspired by my friend and photographer Sara when I scouted out the perfect pair of white jeans for the spring/summer season.
She wore a white pair of wide-leg denim jeans from J.Crew and they were SO flattering on her petite figure. Of course, because she fell in love with this one specific pair of pants, I kept eyeing them on her Instagram Stories feed whenever she posted herself styling them a new way all throughout April. So with traveling to chilly Ohio in mind, I went out to Marshall’s and T.J. Maxx to see what sort of deals they could provide me for the white jeans I’ve been hunting for! This girl was on a serious budget in late April after returning back from a whirlwind European adventure (see those blog posts HERE).
Where I found Mine
Well, wouldn’t you know — my local Marshall’s came THROUGH with a pair of white jeans (that are STRETCHY AF!) from Kancan. The great thing about Marshall’s is how you can find designer deals for way less than the designer price. My Kancan jeans (pictured in this post) should have cost over $40, but I scored them for $19.99 instead. I was overjoyed when I easily slipped into them and found just how nicely they fit my body! No weird creases, no extra fabric showing where it shouldn’t be. Skinny jeans are difficult to find for me anyway (I have a thin waist compared to my butt and legs), and I was happy to check these out at the register just in time for my Ohio weekend travels!

Upon waking up the following Friday morning after arriving in Ohio, my Mom and I ventured out to the city of Dayton to explore the town before my cousin’s wedding on Saturday. My casual attire for that day included my brand new white denim with my new American Eagle AE long sleeve top embroidered bohemian blouse (now $19.00).
