A Closer Look at my Budget-Friendly Everyday Dress

It’s easy for me to stock up on dresses for Spring. My closet turns into a print factory filled to the brim with wild florals, dainty ruffles, and mixes of popular hemlines ranging from maxi to midi length. Sadly, Spring dresses are taking on a new meaning this time of year, aren’t they? With the stay-at-home order in place for the past two months, it’s been quite a dull dress-free few months for me. What a huge bummer!

I’ve been lounging around in Old Navy cargo joggers and cotton t-shirts for most of the time. My desire to slip into a pretty dress hit me last week. I’ve had a few pieces tucked away for now until I feel more comfortable trotting around in a flowy number around the neighborhood or while grabbing to-go orders for dinner.

Let’s be real, what’s the point in truly dressing up besides boosting your mood and feeling just tad better about finding some normalcy through all of this chaos in the world?

Fortunately, my sister and I took a lovely evening walk to capture some real-time moments while I wore my new Just Fab Belted Button Front Dress. The thick straps are supportive and the cream polka dot print fits right in with my love for romantic and delicate clothing.

The time of day we took our evening walk also provided a nice golden light and cooler air. Our walk took us around the block where we found fresh red bougainvillea growing indicating that although this Spring feels quite different than any other Spring in the past, the blooms still continue to peek through and thrive.
