Winter Beauty Products
After posting gift guide after gift guide, I feel ready to jump onto a new topic here on Affordable by Amanda: winter skincare! Over the years, my skin has gone through bouts of dryness when November and December inevitability roll around. Even here in Florida, I experience dry patches on my face and legs!
Today’s post outlines some of the best winter beauty products available to treat dryness and aid in hydration. Right now I am personally dealing with itchy skin and a couple of breakouts along my chin.
To combat these skin issues, I am depending on First Aid Beauty moisturizer to relieve my dry and itchy irritation. Not only am I enjoying beauty products from FAB, but I want to share some more winter beauty products that have come across my radar recently.

The Best Winter Beauty Products
1. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair® Cream Intense Hydration
A super thick and creamy moisturizer without the bad stuff. First Aid Beauty was one of the very first “clean” skincare brands I ever used on my face.
With much delight, I continue to go out of my way to apply First Aid Beauty skincare products on my skin at night to help with hydration. Their skincare is always reliable for me. Whenever I’m dealing with irritation I open up a tube of FAB moisturizer to soothe my skin.
2. Laniege Hypoallergenic Cica Sleeping Mask
Last April, I tested out a beauty product from the brand Laniege for the first time. Instead of opting for their popular lip mask, I chose a different product for an all-over treatment. I picked up their sleeping mask for an over-night hydrating solution to my parched skin. I need to order another round of this! It’s great for applying over-night and waking up to SUPER smooth skin in the morning.

3. Lano The Original 101 Ointment Superbalm
I am so glad I finally have my own small tube of the Lano super balm in my possession. My BFF Nicole gifted me with the Anthropologie advent calendar this year and it’s filled with tiny beauty products. Inside one of the advent calendar days, I found a small tube of Lano superbalm and it’s helped my dry lips stay nice and smooth all day long.
4. Korres Wild Rose Brightening Absolute Oil
This Greek brand has a few of my favorite skincare products of all time. I have gone through a few tubes of the Korres Pomegranate Triple-Dose Resurfacing Mask because it contains AHAs and BHAs for exfoliation. The Korres Wild Rose Oil also packs in the right amount of natural ingredients to use real rose petals and vitamin c to deliver maximum moisture in the wintertime.
5. The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
Over the year I learned so much about hyaluronic acid and what benefits it has on the skin. HA is a powerful humectant to bring moisture to the surface of the skin. I love the affordable beauty line The Ordinary and their hyaluronic acid serum costs under $10 and rivals more expensive options on the market.
6. Sara Happ The Lip Scrub
To maintain hydrated lips it’s important to incorporate a lip scrub and lip ointment into your Winter routine. For lip scrubs, I love the Sara Happ brand for their signature lip scrubs to exfoliate dead skin cells. Grapeseed and jojoba oils work into the lips to aid in hydration, too.
7. Honey Savior All-In-One Skin Repair Salve
Finally, an all-in-one product from a well-known clean beauty brand exists! Formulated with vitamins and raw honey, the All-in-One Skin Repair Salve from Farmacy nurtures and protects the skin barrier. The product lasts forever and a little bit goes a long way. Honey contains humectant properties to soothe and hydrate even the toughest skin issues, such as burns.

8. HoliFrog Tashmoo Water Lily Nourishing Milky Wash
Alright, so I haven’t tried this product out myself yet, but I am intrigued by it so much! Hyram from YouTube loves products by HoliFrog and he uses their cleanser in his morning routine. I am going to order a bottle of it for myself to try this month.

9. Versed Keep it Supple Body Oil
Mixing sweet almond oil and softening coconut oil together into a bottle of Versed Keep it Supple Body Oil sounds too good to be true.
However, the Versed brand has done it again by developing a clean beauty product for the best winter skin. If you want an alternative to thick and heavy lotions, try out a softening body oil to apply straight out of the shower.
10. CeraVe Renewing SA Face Cleanser
Need a new drugstore face wash? I’d recommend looking at one from CeraVe. CeraVe facial cleansers have the drugstore price without skimping on balancing the skin.
This affordable facial cleanser has everything to protect the skin’s natural moisture barrier. At under $10, the perfect drugstore cleanser definitely exists because of this revolutionary brand.
11. Ren Evercalm™ Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask
One final product in my list of winter beauty products: a rescue mask from REN! A combo of white mushroom extract and soothing arnica are found in this light green product. Dry and stressed skin? Use this mask to reveal a calmed down complexion in 10 minutes. I’ve been using it every few days whenever I get hormonal breakouts and in the morning my skin looks so much better!
