Hello, hello! It’s been quite a long time since my last update. I spent the majority of early March overseas in Europe exploring Munich, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Paris. It was such an exciting yet simultaneously overwhelming experience as this marked my first trip abroad. I traveled with my sister and two of her close friends. We left out of Tampa, Florida and flew directly into London Gatwick Airport on Norweign Air.
I am safe back home in America with a few extra stamps on my passport to commemorate the trip. My travels took me into the heart of Germany, to the top of the Eiffel Tower, to the heartwrenching Dachau concentration camp, inside the Anne Frank house, and to the canals of Amsterdam.
Europe offers such a variety of historic museums and attractions to explore and I am blessed to have traveled so far from home for the last few weeks to discover new cultures. I am also hard at work creating the best travel guides to outline the places I recently visited, so stay tuned for those to go live in the upcoming weeks.

Upon arriving back to America, my friends Brittany, Nicole and I attended a fundraiser event in honor of Brittany’s school, Academy Prep. The event was the perfect occasion for us to get dressed up and celebrate the hard work of the students at the school.
A couple of days prior to the event, Nicole and I ventured out to Nordstrom to find dresses to wear to the dinner party. Any excuse for a shopping trip with your BFF right? Of course, I headed upstairs to the juniors section and found this lace midi dress in a pretty pink tone. The dress was also available in neon and lavender. At first, I loved the lavender. The pink one also looked appealing so I picked it up to try on!
I’ve seen this ASTR THE LABEL Lace Midi Dress on SO many fab bloggers! My cousin Allison even wore it in green to our cousin’s wedding. She looked radiant in it because it contrasted nicely with her dark hair, too.
The rose color looks feminine and elegant, just how I pictured myself for the event! I tried on a few different sizes in the fitting room and found the MEDIUM to fit me.
The dress also says to size up online, too. This party-ready number is also under $100! The spring edition of this lace midi dress includes shades such as aqua, light orchid, rose, lavender, lilac, and white. For a bridal shower, the white would be an absolutely gorgeous pick. I understand the hype behind this dress because I could easily slip into it and look put together for less than $100.

ToriI would size up. The dress fit me nicely as a M, but I could have sized up myself to an L and been find.
