Every season I look forward to changing up my nail designs to coincide with the time of year. For example, during the summer months, I went to my favorite nail salon and opted for bright pinks and funky swirls thanks to their popularity on TikTok.

On my Pinterest page, I keep a bunch of cute nail designs on deck to inspire me before I head to the salon. Of course, I also save a lot of nail art designs on my Instagram page, too. Some of my favorite nail art accounts follow include fashionablykay (Mikayla) and gypsytan (Sabrina). Both of these ladies share their manicures on a regular basis!

This week, I stopped by my local nail salon for a fall manicure. With my Pinterest tab open, I showed my nail design artist what I had in mind. She delivered this chic and minimalist black, brown, and gold design for me. You can see my initial inspiration behind my nail art design in this photo.

To recreate my nail art as seen in the photo above with my cable knit sweater on: my base color is “Put It In Neutral” from OPI. The black color has a thin stripe rite brush from China Glaze to apply small strokes to each nail. The brown shade is also from OPI gel polish and the shade name is “Cliffslide Karaoke”.

Here’s a look at one of my favorite at-home manicures from last year. The shade you see in the photo above with my white cardigan is Essie’s fall 2020 collection. The exact color is called “Cargo Cameo” which has a dark brown color mixed with a light shimmer. Thankfully, you can still find it available for sale on Amazon.
