My Current Winter Beauty Routine
The winter season inevitably changes up my makeup routine. I’m switching out my tinted moisturizers and swapping them for more holiday party ready full-coverage foundations. This winter, I am even incorporating a new cream blush to the mix.
Back in September, I shared my Fall Makeup Routine here on the blog. Although I am still using my trusty eyebrow gel from Revlon, most of the other products in my fall makeup routine have changed.
Keep reading to discover what makeup products are part of my current winter makeup routine. Each product in my routine has a little blurb about why I love it below! To shop the products, click on the collage.

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
During the winter season, there are a lot of holiday parties to attend. For these events, I typically reach for a full-coverage foundation to get me through a night of chatting and eating. The Too Faced Born This Way Foundation is now a go-to foundation for me during the holiday season.
When I have self-tanner on, I wear a slightly darker shade “Porcelain”. Otherwise I wear “Ivory” with my natural face color for the best match possible.
MAKEUP BY MARIO Soft Sculpt Bronzer
Instead of wearing a shimmery bronzer this time of year, I opt for a matte one. A few months ago, I finally invested in a MAKEUP BY MARIO bronzer in the lightest shade “Light” to wear on my fair skin. I’ll use a fluffy bronzer brush from Real Techniques and apply the bronzer on the top portion of my cheekbones to create definition to my face.
MERIT Flush Balm Cream Blush
A new brand to me is MERIT, a clean beauty brand available at Sephora. I am actually super pumped to receive a complimentary gift bag from MERIT later this month filled with their best-sellers.
On a total whim I purchased one of their cream blushes for my makeup collection. I had been itching to give another one of their products a try after really loving their lip oil.
MERIT Flush Balm Cream Blush can be applied with a brush or directly onto your face. For me, I dip my favorite Rare Beauty angled foundation brush onto the blush and tap it onto my face after doing my foundation. The shade “Beverly Hills” has a peach tone to it and I think it always ends up looking natural.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick
For years now I’ve worn Charlotte Tilbury Pillowtalk matte lipstick. Prior to filming my Abercrombie & Fitch winter haul, I decided to grab for this classic nude lipstick for the occasion. It never disappoints! The Pillowtalk shade looks matte and close to my natural lip color.
Merit Shade Slick Vegan Tinted Lip Oil
To mix up my usual Charlotte Tilbury lip look I decided to layer on some fun lip gloss from Merit. The shade I own from Merit is called “Au Naturel” that looks neutral with a slight peach tint.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Volumizing Mascara
Another must-have mascara! Too Faced Better Than Sex Volumizing Mascara has the right amount of pigment and bristles to make your lashes look long without clumps.
LAWLESS Mini The Little One Eyeshadow Palette (c/o)
In addition to the Tarte eyeshadow palettes, I also have a major appreciation for LAWLESS mini eyeshadow palettes, too. LAWLESS sent me over a PR package with some of their top-rated products a few months ago. Even though I was gifted this eye shadow palette, I still want to use it every single day as a daytime eyeshadow palette!
Two huge bonuses to this eyeshadow palette? The price and the size! For only $25 you can purchase this exact LAWLESS Beauty Mini eyeshadow palette for yourself or even for your bestie who also loves makeup. The shade range offers plenty of versatility, too. I personally love the light matte brown shade and the gold shimmers to accentuate my blue eyes.
The “mini” nature of this LAWLESS eyeshadow palette also makes it travel-friendly. For a few of my past trips I’ve added this into my makeup bag as my only eyeshadow.
