How to Style a White Button-Front Linen Dress for Summer
White linen dresses are quintessentially designed to be worn in the summertime. As a Florida girl, I need to pick out items that work well with the scorching heat.
When it feels like 100 degrees as soon as you walk out the door, the last thing you need is to feel sticky all day long. That’s what I love about linen fabrics! They are great for keeping you cool and this one I’m wearing looks chic enough to wear from day to night, too.
As if I needed another excuse to go out and hunt down a new white dress, this one from Shoptoska in the Central Arcade fit all my requirements: puffy sleeves, buttons down the center, and cut right above the knee.

If haven’t already explored the Edge District in St. Pete, I highly recommend you take time on a free a Saturday afternoon to walk around the transformed area.
You can start your journey by grabbing a cup of coffee from Intermezzo (a super hipster and all white coffee shop) and the hit the town browsing in and out of the best local shops.
I frequently stop into Shoptoska to see Denisse and her new additions! Her clothes are incredibly affordable and nothing goes over $60.
Behind the scenes of shooting these photos: YES, I stole a yellow hibiscus off a tree branch. I just felt like I needed a pop of color to go with this white dress.
