It’s been a hot minute since I walked into Express. My local Express is a 30 minute drive away from me, so I typically make a day out of it! Prior to shopping in store, I ordered a delicious green smoothie from the Nordstrom Coffee Bar. I needed the extra fuel to get me through an hour of trying on clothes!

Express is known for great special occasion pieces. Whenever I have a wedding coming up or a vacation, I plan on checking out what Express has to offer. This time around I found great vibrant pink floral dresses and tops to play with! The fitting rooms were open so I could find my sizes out much faster than if I placed an online order.

With a huge Express spring sale coming up, I needed to visit my local Express ASAP. For this romper I went with my usual size medium. It fits really well and I love the flattering wrap top! Having a tie-waist in the center of it also breaks up the romper and cinches in your waist.

Stunning is the word I’d use to describe this next outfit! Here I have on a floral and gold metallic romper. However, the romper also doubles as a dress! You can see how the bottom portion of the romper has an asymmetrical ruffle piece covering up the shorts underneath. From a first glance you can’t tell that there are shorts to this item, but I promise shorts are there!

For a casual and sophisticated spring look I paired my floral smocked top from Express with white paperbag shorts. In my last blog post, I paired these same paperbag shorts with a floral blouse from H&M.

The fit to this smocked top is great! One of the features I enjoy most about the smocked top are the exaggerated sleeves. Of course, as with most smocking, the top includes elastic for optimal stretch across the chest.

Looking for a pretty dress to wear to a spring or summer wedding? I recommend this strappy pink hi-low dress for you! The color makes me SO happy as its a light baby pink shade. On me I went for the medium and the dress runs pretty true to size.
