Fall Teacher Outfit Ideas on a Budget
Are you heading back to the classroom this month? I have an array of fall teacher outfit ideas that are all budget friendly in today’s post. I’ve been doing some online and in-store shopping at Old Navy, Target, and Walmart over the past few weeks to gear up for back to school season.
Teacher Outfit Ideas
Although I am not a teacher myself, I have friends and family who work in a school environment. With them in mind, I wanted to curated affordable fall teacher outfit ideas that are practical and chic! Enjoy these fall outfit ideas that I’ve put together for school or even an office setting.
Blouse | Skirt | Mules
A satin slip skirt can elevate a casual look for the classroom or office. I am enjoying styling this neutral satin slip skirt that I picked up from Old Navy a few weeks back. The satin skirt has a stretchy elastic band at the top, too. You can see how to style a midi skirt different ways in this previous blog post.
Cardigan | Bodysuit | Trousers
Neutral beige trousers are a fall office and classroom essential. Thankfully, I found an amazing affordable pair of neutral wide-leg trouser pants at Target. For sizing I would stick to your usual size in bottoms or jeans as I am wearing my typical size 10 in these Target trousers. Another favorite fall must-have for a classroom is a cardigan and I highly recommend this soft brown duster cardigan at $28 that you can order from Target.
Cardigan | Blouse | Jeans | Loafers
This is an easy teacher outfit idea that combines a chunky ribbed cardigan, ruffle trim blouse, and casual denim jeans. I like the fall tone to this Old Navy ruffle trim blouse that I also feature in my fall capsule wardrobe for this year. It’s under $30 and has a nice lightweight chiffon to it.
Blouse | Pants | Loafers
Upon shopping at Walmart for a fall fashion haul to share on YouTube, I ended up finding amazing new items to add to my own wardrobe that would be ideal for teachers. This $22 purple floral wrap blouse fits beautifully in my true size medium. The wrap style is super flattering, too. I also have to mention these brown ponte pants because they are stretchy, under $20, and go with everything! I like using brown as a versatile neutral tone to pair with colorful tops and sweaters this time of year.
Cardigan | Top | Trousers | Mules
From Amazon I scored a neutral long ribbed cardigan for under $50 that’s great as a layering piece. If you are a teacher I feel as if you can drape this cardigan over your chair and throw it on when the air conditioning kicks in.
Cardigan | Bodysuit | Skirt
I found this fun long denim midi skirt at Target and was surprised by how much I loved it. This affordable $28 denim midi skirt pairs nicely with neutral items on top as I am wearing my favorite Amazon bodysuit and a white cardigan from Hollister.
Cardigan | Bodysuit | Trousers
Another outfit idea for teachers featuring this ribbed cardigan that was gifted to me by Hollister. You can find a similar white ribbed cardigan at Target for under $30. I kept this entire look neutral from head to toe while styling my beige trousers.
