15 Fall Wardrobe Essentials 2023

These are 15 fall wardrobe essentials for 2023. Tops, bottoms, accessories, and shoes that would make any fall wardrobe feel elevated and versatile. Most of these fall items are budget-friendly finds from Walmart, Target, Old Navy, and Amazon. 1. Bodysuit

A fall top that I find to be an essential is a neutral bodysuit. Some of my favorite bodysuit purchases over the years have come from Amazon and Abercrombie. Living in Florida, I find a sleeveless bodysuit to be the one for me. If you live up north I totally understand wanting a long sleeve bodysuit to layer underneath your fall outfits.

2. Mock Neck Sweater Top

Rib knit tops are great transitional pieces to pair with skirts, jeans, and trousers. I ended up buying into the viral TikTok rib knit mock neck sweater top for under $30 on Amazon. It turns out this top is worth the hype! I like the neutral apricot shade that I purchased.

3. Blouse

A nice blouse can be dressed up or down for the fall season. There’s a few gorgeous blouses that I have in my wardrobe from Gibsonlook including this brown and white floral cap sleeve top styled below with cream trousers.

4. Ribbed Cardigan

I like to wear my ribbed cardigans as tops a lot of time. However, you can also style a white ribbed cardigan with it open. A classic rib knit cardigan has definitely become a fall staple for my own wardrobe.

5. Trouser Pants

One of the trendiest pant styles for fall 2023 will be trousers. Trousers are not only perfect for the office, but they make your outfit look elevated and chic. I definitely recommend checking out the trousers at Target and Abercrombie for the best quality finds.

6. Denim Jeans

Straight-leg denim jeans are a classic pair to own for the fall/winter. I buy my jeans from Old Navy in the OG Straight Leg version. These jeans from Old Navy are priced right, have a lot of stretch, and wash really well.

7. Satin Slip Skirt

A satin slip skirt makes for the perfect transitional piece as we move from summer into fall. I really love the gold satin skirt that I bought from Old Navy a few weeks back.

8. Wool Blend Coat

Amazon has a lot of great wool-blend coats for affordable prices. I found my own tan wool-blend coat from Amazon Essentials last year and now it’s a fall staple in my own fall wardrobe. If you live up North then you definitely need to invest in a nice wool-blend coat to bundle up with!

9. Over Sized Blazer

Over sized blazers are also another outerwear item to have for the fall season. You can layer a blazer over a white bodysuit and satin skirt (seen below) or with jeans.
