5 New Beauty Products I’m Loving This Winter
Since I’ve been focusing a ton of my time and effort into creating the best possible holiday gift guides for you all this year, I’ve neglected to put together a blog post updating you on my new beauty obsessions! Back in November, there were also huge Cyber Monday and Black Friday deals that I couldn’t pass up sharing over on my LIKEtoKNOW.it page and Facebook page, too. Today I am finally sitting down and writing out some of my latest beauty product obsessions, covering a couple of hair care products and even a gorgeous eyeshadow palette that happens to be on major sale! Keep reading this exciting new post where I take you through my top beauty obsessions for the winter.

As much as I love Christmas and putting together gift guides, I also have quite a passion for sharing beauty products here. Some recent beauty finds are from Target, Sephora, Walgreens, and even Amazon! I feel like it was necessary to take a break from writing about beauty products so I could spend some time testing out the products for weeks at a time to see how I really felt about a certain moisturizer or shampoo. Well, the time has come for me to share my latest rendition of beauty products I am loving: winter edition. With the winter season comes drier skin and even drier hands, ugh! I am so glad I found a couple of new beauty products to help me out this time of year. Although I was only in New York for a week, I am still going to share a couple of “winter must-haves” for those of you who live in colder climates.

Moving onto another amazing new beauty find that is a facial cleanser. This Kiehl’s foaming cleanser is absolutely fantastic for combination skin types! How did I discover this new beauty product?
STORY TIME: Well, I was patiently waiting for my sister and her friend to meet up with me at Disney Springs back in September. While waiting for them to park, I leisurely walked into the Disney Springs Kiehl’s location. I browsed the travel-sized products and tested out a couple of moisturizers before the kind store employee asked me if I was browsing for any particular reason. Upon realizing that I didn’t bring a great cleanser with me on my overnight trip to Orlando, I asked him for advice on picking out a great cleanser especially fit for my combo skin. He did an in-store test on my face and we discovered that my skin was definitely combination and severely dehydrated! I was very shocked to find out just how dehydrated my poor face was and he recommended that I pick up the Calendula Deep Cleansing Face Wash. I told him that I really enjoy using face washes that are foaming (because it looks like it’s actually doing something to my pores!) and since he personally uses that same face wash on his skin he knew I’d love it as well. We chatted further about our own struggles with breakouts and our eventual Accutane journies as I was checking out at the register. Boy, I am so thrilled that I had the chance to talk to him and discover this awesome face wash because of it!
