10 Wearable Fall Fashion Trends for 2025
Fall is my favorite time to refresh my wardrobe, and this year’s trends are ones you can actually wear in real life. I’ve rounded up 10 fall 2025 fashion trends that are stylish, comfortable, and easy to fit into an everyday closet—without spending a ton of money. Think cozy layers, rich fall colors, and a few statement pieces that instantly make an outfit feel fresh. Whether you’re heading to work, grabbing coffee with a friend, or just want to feel put-together on the weekend, these wearable trends are simple to try and super affordable to find.
1. Suede
One of the hottest trends for fall 2025 will be suede! Suede jackets, purses, shoes and accessories are some easy ways to incorporate suede into your fall wardrobe. Personally I just picked up a new pair of faux suede Mary Janes from Old Navy to style casually with denim jeans and dressed up with trousers. A suede handbag from Amazon or Target is also an affordable option to add this trend into a fall outfit.
2. Burgundy
A fall color to take note of is burgundy. Try it in a cozy sweater, a crossbody bag, or even a pair of flats for a subtle seasonal update. It pairs beautifully with neutrals like black, cream, and camel. I also really love how this Target outfit came together with a sleeveless burgundy tank top and chocolate brown pull-on pants.
3. Chocolate Brown
A super easy fall trend for 2025 will be chocolate brown. Whether it’s a faux leather skirt, knee high boot, or cozy knit, this shade feels rich and elevated while still being super wearable day-to-day. Check out these faux leather chocolate brown boots from Walmart that look designer.
4. Ruffles
As someone who loves to wear feminine silhouettes, I am excited to see lots of ruffle details for fall slowly emerging to the forefront. Look for soft blouses or dresses with subtle ruffle details that add just the right amount of femininity. They’re easy to dress up with heels or down with jeans.
5. Wide Leg Jeans
Wide leg denim is sticking around for fall, and it’s the perfect jean silhouette to balance chunky sweaters and oversized coats. They’re comfortable, flattering, and can instantly update your everyday outfits without trying too hard. Check out these flattering dark wash jeans from Walmart that I recently picked up to style this fall.
6. Earth Tones
Earth tones like rust, olive, and camel are the ultimate fall color palette. These shades are timeless, easy to mix and match, and make even casual outfits look polished. A monochromatic earth tone look always feels chic. You can channel earth tones with accessories like this pendant necklace and bangle stack from Walmart.
7. Mary Janes
Mary Janes add a sweet, vintage-inspired touch to any outfit. Go for flats for everyday wear or block heels for something dressier. They look especially cute with wide leg jeans or a midi skirt. I have quite a few favorite Mary Janes that I own and wear often that I’ll share below:
- Old Navy Burgundy Mary Janes
- Walmart Leopard Mary Janes
- Amazon Cushionaire Mesh Mary Janes
8. Cropped Cardigans
Cropped cardigans are the layering piece of the season. Wear one buttoned up with high-waisted denim, or throw it over a dress for an easy fall outfit. They’re versatile and available at tons of affordable retailers right now.
9. Barn Jackets
Barn jackets are having a moment thanks to their classic, utilitarian vibe. They’re practical, warm, and perfect for layering over cozy knits. This trend is great if you love pieces that are functional but still stylish. Old Navy brought back out a barn jacket in a few different rich fall shades.
10. Leopard Print
Leopard print is basically a neutral at this point, and it’s a fun way to add personality to your fall outfits. Try it in a scarf, a pair of flats, or even a statement coat—you can style it with almost anything. At Walmart I found a stunning leopard print maxi dress that would be beautiful to wear to the office or dressed up for a date night.
