September Instagram Outfit Recap
Sharing a recap of some looks I wore over on Instagram this past month of September!
I wore this maxi dress to an influencer event at the Mexican restaurant Nueva Cantina last week! I love the ruffle tiered look. Of course, the green color also spoke to me when sifting through the racks at Target. Anything green has been on my radar these days. I am wearing a medium for this dress, by the way. My booties are also from Target (wearing my usual 9 1/2) and they are under $40.
I styled a simple pink and tan $14.99 “Like a Boss” graphic t-shirt with a black and white polka-dotted pull-on skirt to attend the grand opening for B.A.E Beauty Bar on 4th Street in St. Petersburg, Florida. My skirt is also marked down 40% right now on the LOFT website. If you are on the hunt for a dotted midi skirt, I recommend this one! I am wearing a medium as it fits TTS (true to size). Instead of $55, it is now $33! The material is very lightweight and the pull-on waistband helps cinch in your waist to tuck in your top (or sweater) of choice.
The salon is SO girly and I loved posing on the pink couch and the floral wall couldn’t have been any cuter for Instagram! I was treated to a complimentary hair styling where my long extensions were wrapped up into two bubble braids. The event was a huge success and I am excited to return again soon for another hair styling session.
Oh, how my addiction to puff-sleeve tops continues! This major summer trend will hopefully stick around as the seasons bring us to fall weather all around. I own quite a few of these puff-sleeve tops and I enjoy wearing them so much! Whether I am styling them with utility skirts (pictured here) or out for drinks with skinny jeans, puff-sleeve tops can do no wrong. Honestly, this style is so popular that you can easily find similar tops in stores like Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters. The one I am wearing in this outfit picture is on super sale for less than $10.00 at JCPenney!
I purchased this mustard button-down mini dress from H&M very recently and posed in it for a recent collaboration campaign! I sized up to a US 10 because H&M sizes can be tricky. I tried on the US 8, but I felt like it was way too short to actually wear and wash for multiple occasions. I love the narrow spaghetti straps for easy all-day comfort, too. The dress material is also surprisingly stretchy for something that looks identical to corduroy! I picture myself wearing this dress with black tights and a denim jacket as we enter the fall season. It’s a cute and affordable $35 option if you are looking for a pumpkin patch dress, too! The dress has a dark red version that will be perfect for fall.
