My Favorite Things This March 2020
The LAVANILA brand sells everything from healthy deodorant to healthy fragrances. When I was first dipping my toes into the world of “healthy” deodorant, LAVANILA was the first brand I ever tested out! It’s honestly a good one, too. My armpits are naturally sensitive and the formula didn’t break me out or cause any unsightly rashes like I’ve experienced with other brands before. Their deodorant doesn’t have baking soda which I’ve noted as a main ingredient in deodorant formulas that can cause rashes for my skin.
The only downside? The formula does not hold up in the summertime for me. I need a stronger formula to keep my armpits from smelling up the room. I am interested in trying out their other scents at a later time.
Besides their healthy deodorant, I also made a move to try out their rollerball perfume. The “Pure Vanilla” scent offers notes of Madagascar Vanilla combined with Chamomile extract and Goji berry to nourish and protect the skin. For $16, you can grab a travel-sized roller ball version of this scent to carry with you in your purse as I do!
The next item on my March favorites list? bareMinerals Gen Nude Patent Lip Lacquer. The color I’ve been wearing the most “Dahling” has a cinnamon pink tone to it. This chemical-free Lip Lacquer has a Moisturizing Mineral Complex ingredient that helps to keep lips soft, smooth and hydrated.
Instead of opting for an over-drying matte liquid lip, I’ve been switching over to a glossy vibe. Using this lip lacquer took some adjusting because I’m normally accustomed to a drying matte lip product. Wearing this lipgloss makes my lips feel plump and juicy! However, since it’s glossy, I wouldn’t wear it out on a windy day, LOL. Your hair will most definitely get stuck on your lips and that’s just a messy situation.
I received this great Amazon makeup pouch for Christmas as one of my gifts. After keeping it in my closet for some time until I was ready to start breaking it in as my travel makeup pouch. For under $30, you can carry around this toiletry bag that resembles the real Louis Vuitton pattern, but at a crazy reduced cost! Made with premium PU leather, shows a sense of luxury with a low profile. Waterproof, anti-wear and splash-resistant. Suitable for both daily use and travel.
Inside my makeup pouch, I can hold everything from full tubes of sunscreen to mascara to dry shampoo. There’s seriously SO much space inside this toiletry bag. Prime and free returns? Check!
One more makeup fave to add to my list: Urban Decay Ultimate Basics Palette. I had such a hard time finding this palette available online to link! I’m thinking Urban Decay may have discontinued it which sounds like a shame because I truly love all of the versatile matte shades found in one convenient eyeshadow palette. The warm tones are the ones I typically apply to my lid.
Luckily, I found this palette on Amazon if you’re interested in checking it out. One of the other eyeshadow palettes I love using from Urban Decay: Naked2 Basics Palette that’s awesome for traveling.
These silver disc Kendra Scott earrings are a piece of jewelry that’s now a staple item for accessorizing my everyday looks. The size of these silver earrings really suits my taste, too. Not too big, not too small. Since I’m not THAT much of a silver gal, I do make an exception with this particular pair of silver earrings because they feel boho and classy at the same time. The material does not weigh heavy on the ears at all which is yet another perk to wearing them daily.
Other Random Favorites?
A couple more favorite things from March include: burning soy candles from Nightshift Wax Co. a local candle company based where I live in St. Petersburg, Florida, as well as pulling my hair back using tortoiseshell hair clips ($8.00) from Amazon.

My Favorite Things This March: What I Bought
I picked up this Abercrombie & Fitch floral midi dress (as seen in this style blog post)
For my hair, I ordered a tan bohemian straw twist knotted headband from Amazon for the Spring season.
Before I knew I would be wearing comfy clothes on a regular basis, I also picked up this matching knit set from Victoria’s Secret in early March. The ribbed joggers and matching crewneck sweater t-shirt are SOFT. The color I picked up called “Vintage Rose” fits accordingly and there’s plenty of other color combos to choose from online.
Oh, Target and their Wild Fable collection! I also went to Target (the good times) and picked up a gorgeous green floral smocked long sleeve top for the Spring season. A great $20 find.
I caved and ordered the classic Insta-worthy flat brim Urban Outfitters dupe for the Lack Of Color Hat in March. Boy, am I glad I did! This hat will quintessentially become my go-to hat. It’s a hat I’ve worn way more times than any other hat in my entire life. Big fan of the beige color and the flat brim details, too.
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed my leopard printed sweatshirt from Old Navy popping up quite a few times during the latter half of March. Well, since I am stuck inside all day, I needed to order some cute comfy clothes, right? Well, thankfully Old Navy had my back when I placed a late-night order to pick up utility joggers, a leopard printed sweatshirt, green cami jumpsuit, and floral red romper.
Hang in their friends and thanks for stopping by today!
