Can you believe that fall fashion has started to arrive in stores? I am still very much in a summer state of mind in Florida, but I know it’s important to reveal top trends for fall as soon as possible!

Providing some early fall inspiration comes with the style blogger title. H&M fall 2020 fashion includes a variety of soft pastels, fuzzy fabrics, touches of leather, and lots of neutrals. To be honest, it looks like a complete repeat season to me. There were similar styles for fall ’19 that I am seeing online at H&M for this season. I am not mad about it because last year introduced a lot of minimal looks and romantic silhouettes that are definitely my taste.

H&M Fall 2020 Must-Haves

1. Ribbed Turtleneck Sweater – I always pick myself out a new turtleneck sweater for the fall season. The turtleneck sweaters found at H&M usually hold up for me, too. I can count on this brand to carry comfortable turtleneck styles that won’t itch my neck!
2. V-Neck T-Shirt – stocking up on simple tees helps me plan out my outfits in less time. I’ll be buying a few of these affordable $4.99 v-neck t-shirts from H&M for the fall.
3. Floral Puff-Sleeve Blouse – shall we carry florals into the fall season? Yes, yes we shall! This blouse has an airy, woven cotton fabric and a flattering round neckline to it. Of course, the short puff sleeves are what sold me.

More H&M Picks for Fall

1. Puff-Sleeved Sweater – a soft, fine knit puff-sleeve sweater pairs beautifully with some wide-leg denim jeans in the cooler weather. A standard sweater feels elevated with sophisticated puff-sleeve detail.
2. Faux Shearling Coat – one of my top favorite items to wear in the fall over the last couple of years has been a faux shearling coat. I’m glad this style continues to return year after year! Now H&M has a few new upgrades to this style of coat with different color options like this gray one with pockets.
3. Fine Knit Polo – not sure if you’ll hear this style tip first on Affordable by Amanda, but I need to let you know that polos are back in a major way! The once preppy trend has come back for the fall season but this time in a muted and toned down way that skips the embroidered logos altogether. Find a top with a collar this season and you’ll be right on track.

Fall 2020 Trends Seen at H&M

1. Ruched Soft Shoulder Bag – when I spotted this shoulder bag at H&M I did a little happy dance because I own a similar one from SHEIN. It’s nice to see styles you own elsewhere because it confirms that I am purchasing trendy pieces to ultimately share on my blog and Instagram. Not only can you wear this stylish bag draped on your shoulder, but you can easily carry it as a clutch.
2. Lace-Trimmed (Rust Brown) Top – what a gorgeous color for autumn! I am loving the age of rust-brown. This lingerie-inspired lace top makes a nice transitional piece from summer outfits into fall.
3. Rhinestone-Button Cardigan – as I mentioned in my introduction, fuzzy things are also all the rage at the moment. Fall fashion in 2020 will feature plenty of fluffy knit fabrics. I love the boxy and oversized approach to this soft rhinestone-button cardigan.
