5 Spring Style Updates with Bealls Outlet
The Trends:
1. Clear Bags
One simple way to elevate any Spring look right now involves the “clear” or “see-through” trend. I opted for a clear bag to wear with my palm print jumpsuit for an evening on the Starlite Cruise ship.
Okay, I’ll admit it: at first, I was hesitant to jump on this bandwagon because who wants to have all of their personal items on display for ALL to see!? Not me! However, I was determined to rock the trend anyway. I simply stuffed all of my “uglier” items (phone, sunglasses, car keys) underneath my huge black wallet to hide them. I made the transparent bag trend work for me once I hid all of my less-than-cute junk!
The transparent bag trend was seen all over the spring/summer runway shows where designers accessorized their new looks with clear shoulder bags and fanny packs. If Chanel thinks it’s cool to show off all of your trinkets in a clear bag then I will not argue!
2. Tassel Earrings
Like with last summer, tassel earrings are not going anywhere. I recently received a pair of these dangling turquoise blue earrings from BaubleBar. The tassels playfully dangle down on my ears and swing in the tropical breeze.
These earrings ($12.99, Target) feature a stud at the top while short, cascading tassels drop down for easy movement. I typically collect a pair of tassel earrings in every single color to coordinate with whatever outfit I choose for the day/night. This pair arrived on the same day as my dinner cruise, so I wore them out for the special occasion!
3. Espadrille Wedge Sandals
Don’t get me started on how much I dread wearing heels — they are so darn uncomfortable! That’s why whenever I can substitute a cute pair of chunky wedges, I do so. I found these espadrille wedges inside my local Bealls Outlet. The front includes a frilly tribal pattern which is super appropriate for summer.
What makes Bealls Outlet stand out as one of my favorite stores (I know everyone SAYS a bunch of stores are their “favorite”, but Bealls Outlet continues to top my list, friends!) is because they sell top designer names for WAY less. You save up to 70% off other stores’ prices.
Bealls Outlet aligns with some of my other FAVORITE (haha) stores like TJ Maxx and Marshall’s. When I was looking through the store and combing through each department, I was able to find an entire outfit for less than $100. These Tommy Hilfiger Wedges Sandals were just $39.99. I am wearing the wedges in a women’s size 10.
These wedge sandal platforms feature a padded sole and a stretchy ankle strap for easy comfort. I did not complain about these shoes for one second when we boarded the ship for our 3-hour cruise. They lasted me through the night as my sister and I ventured to each side of the boat, too.
4. Tie-Front Jumpsuits
This chic tie-front jumpsuit was waiting for me in the junior’s section of Bealls Outlet. I tried it the medium on, showed my Mom (who was shopping with me!), and she and I both agreed that I needed to purchase it to style for a summer look.
Of course, in typical Bealls Outlet nature, the jumpsuit rang up for only $14.99. I swear, I could style a few outfits AND THEN SOME with a $100 budget because of Bealls Outlet and their low, low price points. The tie-front look is in-vogue at the moment. Plenty of major department stores from Dillards to Abercrombie & Fitch to Forever 21 are bringing this trend to life for fashionistas like myself to dig up.
5. Palm Prints
One final trend for the Spring/Summer 2019 seasons: palm print. I don’t think I would be a very good Floridian if I didn’t own at least ONE thing in a palm print pattern! I especially love how this jumpsuit incorporates yellow and green tied into one fabulous piece.
Palm prints are also just a quintessential pattern to rock in the summertime. Who doesn’t want to feel like they’ve stepped into a tropical oasis as soon as they slip into a palm print top, pant, or jumpsuit!? I love the addition of this palm print jumpsuit to my summertime favorites and I couldn’t think of anything better to wear on a sunset dinner cruise!
