a look into my apartment bedroom
Here is an overview of my apartment bedroom!
Photo #1/#2: This is my bed and closet. My bedding is from Wal-Mart. I purchased it last year, so it may not be in stores anymore. It came with pillow shams, a comforter, and sheets. I believe it was around $35. You can see my closet which is pretty spacious. Above my closet is my monogram craft that I detailed how to make on my blog a few weeks ago! My mini photo gallery is my favorite part about my bed area! These are Dollar Store frames and calendar photos that I put into the frames. I used command strips to keep them up on the wall.
Photo #3: This is my front window display and side table. I made these amazing flower holding bottles a few months ago. All I did was collect Tazo tea bottles from Starbucks (which was very easy to do considering my tea obsession!) and paint the inside with white acrylic paint. Fill each bottle with a fun flower arrangement and you have the perfect window sill display. A girl at my school was giving away her furniture and I acquired this side table from her. I stack my old magazines on it and it is also where my alarm clock sits.
Photo #4: Here is my display above my desk. My desk is still a work in progress so I will hopefully do a post about it soon! From left to right is: a Paris picture I drew, my ‘London Calling’ Bath & Body Works Candle, a tea pot I painted at my school paint-a-pot, a Dollar Store circle plate with more candles and a shiny ‘A’ letter, another craft I made with a lady in a sparkle dress, and ‘Turquoise Waters’ candle from B&B Works.
Photo #5: This is my closet view. Inside is a three tie drawer from Wal-Mart, a shoe bin, and my clothing hanging up. I use soft hangers from TJ Maxx to hang up the clothes that may slip off regular white hangers.
Photo #6: This is the view from my bed into my bathroom. My pink rug is from Kate Spade but it was purchased at Marshall’s! My mirror is on sale now over at Jo-Ann’s for $7.00. My blue hanging organizer is from Big Lots but it is recycled from my freshman year in the dorms so its most likely not found in stores any longer.
If you are in the process of rearranging your room, moving into a new place, or just want to look at some ideas for decorating I have some options from Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, & the Container Store below!
