My sister and I went on an adventure to find new local restaurants where we grew up. I heard about the new Karma Juice Bar through Facebook, and when I found it it was only a 10 minute drive for a healthy smoothie or snack I needed to try it. I loved the decor in the building–the giant chalkboard, earthy potted plants, and dramatic hanging light-bulbs were so trendy and cool. We chatted with the owners and I expressed my interest in finding a mid-afternoon treat! I ordered a smoothie called the “Cin-ner”, which has almond butter, (homemade!) cacao nibs, almond milk, and cinnamon. My sis ordered a green juice with avocados, bananas, and spinach. They both tasted delicious and it was great to know exactly what went into my drink. I can’t wait to go back and try some of their snacks, like the banana toast or vegg Check them out on Facebook if you live in the Florida area!

My outfit was put together rather quickly–my summer overalls, a simple black tank, and my black and white Kate Spade crossbody. I love dressing up but this look was a completely casual approach to what I like to wear in the afternoon. My overalls are originally from Wal-Mart are cost $12. Check out some similar options below.
