1. Better Skin Foundation this foundation was new on the market and I decided to try it out! It says it will give your skin some benefits such as helping with “dullness, spots, and unevenness”. I bought the lightest shade in 10 porcelain and although it is a good match for my pale skin tone I still need to add some bronzer on top because it makes me appear too ghostly for my liking! The coverage is medium-full with the ability to build it up nicely. I have not seen anything too drastic in terms of less dullness, spot or uneveness with my skin but I’m only had the foundation for a month, so I’ll see in time what happens!
2. BareMinerals Blemish Remedy Concealer my weaknesses are definitely buying foundations and concealers! I bought this one at $22 from one of my favorite brands BareMinerals at Sephora last week when I had a giftcard to spend. I love this NARS Radiant Creamy concealer so much, but I wanted to branch out and try a new one. This creamy bareminerals concealer has some great benefits such as tea tree oil and aspen bark which help with breakouts, and aloe to help soothe and hydrate the skin. At first, I was not into rolling the stick onto my skin because I am weird about using fresh sponges to apply makeup and keeping things clean. I am slowly warming up to using the product directly onto my skin and I do like the amount of product I get with a single swipe across my face!
3. LaVanila The Healthy Deodorant I love this deodorant! I haven’t switched from a new brand in a while because this product is something I always rave about. It’s 100% healthy because it has no harmful aluminium, parabens, or sulfates. It comes in a variety of scents but I own the original vanilla scent. You can buy it from Sephora in two sizes, a travel size for $8 {which I first started out with!} or the large size for $14.
4. E.l.f. matte lip color in “Tea Rose” I am someone who does not wear a lot of lipsticks. During the school day I usually just apply some of this lip balm because it smells nice and is good for your lips. On days when I do want a little bit of color, I pick light berry shades or a shade like this one. I like the price point {$3!} and how the color looks against my skin tone.
