what I got for christmas 2015
This is our beach-themed Christmas tree |
Christmas in Florida is extremely hot this year {85 in December!}, but it just means the holidays can be celebrated in shorts and tank tops! My family and I spent the morning exchanging gifts, eating homemade french toast, and drinking peppermint mochas. I wanted to share some of the gifts I received this year. I always love seeing what people got for Christmas. I also enjoy opening up gifts and taking pictures of them in a festive way so much! In no way am I sharing this to be showy because I am very grateful for all of these wonderful and thoughtful presents. Thank you so much for coming to my blog and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Old Navy Cable Knit Sweater {on sale $19.97} // New York and Company Stud Earrings
Starbucks New York City Mug {from my sister’s trip to NY!} // Forever 21 Cross-body Bag {on super sale! only $12 now and comes in three colors}
Kate Spade Cedar Street Small Harmony Tote Bag
My Mom got this bag for me at the Kate Spade store just when they were marking it down! Instead of $268 it was on sale for $134 and then was additionally 25% off. I am so excited to use this for school for all my notebooks and other supplies.
This is the french toast I made in the morning! I used a pretty simple recipe:
1/4 cup of milk, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and 1 egg. Combine the ingredients and soak both sides of 1 slice of bread into the mixture and place it in a saucepan on medium heat until golden brown. Top with whipped cream, honey/syrup, and berries. They came out delicious!
Our family fireplace in the living room was burning a log
