1. Cover FX Perfect Setting Powder, Sephora.
For keeping my makeup locked in place I rely on a setting powder. I enjoy using many different types of liquid foundations, so setting it becomes a necessity! This powder is ultra-translucent and loose so it has become my favorite for setting my under-eye concealer and any other concealer that I apply on my face. It never adds any color to my makeup either, which is great for someone like me who has pale skin and doesn’t want my face to look darker than the rest of my body.
2. Tartiest Pro Palette, Macys
Kudos to my bestie for this amazing birthday gift! This is the ultimate palette full of 20 unique shadow shades to craft any eye look. They are so pigmented that I needed to make sure I didn’t add too much of one color! The matte and shimmer shades are equally gorgeous. The shadows have flake-resistant pigments because Tarte is known for high-quality products. If you need to invest in just ONE palette, this would be my suggestion.
3. L’Oreal Clay Rebalancing Shampoo, $4 at Target
I really want to devote an entire post to this product because I simply LOVE it that much. This clay shampoo/conditioner system is your answer for smooth roots that are completely clean from dirt and build-up! If you can’t invest in the Aveda system that I love, (which is totally pricey compared to this!) then go ahead and spend the $3.99 on either the shampoo or conditioner from Target. I don’t need to wash my hair as often when I use this system…I’m currently going 4 days without washing and my roots STILL look good! This is so great for those with oily roots, like myself.

1. Embroidered Peasant Dresses
Forever 21 is some place I will always shop at, even when I get older. They sell the best basics and occasionally I can find some extra sale items, such as this dress, that I scored for $10. Currently the embroidered trend is unfolding in department stores alike. From jean jackets with cute embroidered details to dresses like the one I am wearing above, this
2. Kendra Scott ‘Elisa’ Pendant Necklace
In case you haven’t found out yet, Kendra Scott will give you an astonishing 50% an item during your birthday month! I discovered this on my actual birthday and proceeded to freak out inside my local Kendra Scott store. My mom graciously bought me this beauty featured above–the Elisa pendant necklace in iridescent druzy. Swoon! It was half off which made me feel so successful at getting a great bargain and I still can’t stop wearing it!
3. Indigo Rein Ripped Jeans, Macys for $25

1. Birthday Fun
My birthday is the 7th of February (I am an Aquarius to a T) and it was seriously one of my best birthdays yet. I spent the day going to local favorites, Oxford Exchange and Hyde Park Village, where I purchased a new pair of glasses from Warby Parker (these are the EXACT glasses I bought myself! The frames and prescription were $95!) and enjoyed a cupcake from Sprinkles.
2. The Bachelor
Honestly I’m not a fan of Nick, but I started watching the show because of one girl-Corinne. She was such a spit-fire and was a crazy addition to the series. She easily became the most gif-able girl on the show and was funnier and funnier every episode. I was so sad to see her go last week because she did admit that she loved Nick, and it did not look like a fun limo ride home.
3. Lush Face Mask, ‘Don’t Look At Me’
