I had a bit of a clean-out sesh in my room this past weekend. There’s nothing like going through everything you own and sorting things out from one area to the next. It really gives me a sense of peace when I dig up old things I forgot about because of my disorganization! Cleaning up my room has been a long time coming because I’ve been busy these past few weeks. From shooting new content to working on pieces for HSN, it’s been quite an eventful couple of weeks.
Of course, I have to blast an upbeat Spotify playlist while I clean. One of my favorite playlists to listen to is called “Digging Now” where they compile a bunch of Indie Pop tunes that I love already with a mix of new bands I’m unfamiliar with. It’s a great way to introduce new music into my life and since I have Spotify premium, I can skip the songs I don’t like in a split second.
A few other highlights of my weekend:
+ I tried the new Mango Dragonfruit Starbucks Refresher: my opinion? It’s delishhhh!
+I’ve continued to wash my hair and immediately spray 10 pumps of the Kristin Ess Weightless Shine Leave-In Conditioner.
For $10.00, you will notice healthier feeling hair even after just one use. I’ve loved it SO much that I simply spray it after each time I wash my hair! It never feels too heavy in my hair which can happen when products built-up over time. I can usually go about three days with this leave-in conditioner in my hair until I feel the need to wash my hair again. It’s a must-try!!!
+I discovered the BEST vegan muffins on the planet. I’ve already gone out to Lucky’s Market to repurchase these chocolate chip muffins twice. Abe’s Muffins are tasty treats that do NOT remind me of anything remotely similar to the off-tasting vegan muffins that I’m used to eating. There are nine (!!) different flavors for you to choose from, but go with the classic chocolate chip muffins first.
Let’s talk about this outfit, shall we? Floral culottes are such a cute pair of statement pants for summer. These wide leg pants are perfectly paired with a simple black ruffle crop top from Forever 21, marked at a reasonable $15.90.
Complete with slanted inset pockets, these soft floral pants are modest and comfortable for any summer activity. The floral pants I have on sit normally at the waist, too. The relaxed and flowy culotte trousers will be your next favorite fashion trend.
