I’ve been super excited to finally write and upload this post to Affordable by Amanda! These amazing photos were taken back in November when I traveled up to New York to see my family and to see my Mom march in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thanksgiving Day. I met up with Carter Fish in downtown Manhattan for a morning of shooting outfits for the holidays together. She is a talented New York-based influencer photographer and I was looking forward to collaborating together to create beautiful blog post content for the holiday season. We shot for an hour and I was naturally changing on the streets of New York because that’s just what you do when you are trying to speed up the shooting process and capture as many photos as possible within an hour long time frame! I slipped into this sparkly sequined number from H&M (it’s currently out of stock but I found SO many similar sequin dresses that I am linking below in this post) and positioned myself to show off the exaggerated sleeves.

Sequined dresses are absolutely ideal for holiday parties if you want to look glamorous and feel sexy! I think a sequined party dress makes you look like an old Hollywood actress and who doesn’t want to look like Grace Kelly?! I shopped around for quite some time before I landed on this stunning sparkly H&M sequined dress. The under $50 price point also sold me! I actually bought the dress (size medium, my usual dress size) without trying it on which I normally don’t do, but I was in a time crunch as I was busy packing for my impeding NYC trip and prayed that it would fit me. H&M has such an awesome selection of party dresses and Christmas outfit ideas right now. H&M will always be one of my favorite stores whether I am looking for something casual or dressy.

Over the past few months, I’ve been carefully purchasing my winter coats, jackets, skirts, and even accessories from H&M. Looking glam for the holidays can be budget-friendly if you choose to shop at retailers that are known for under $100 fashion, such as H&M! In this trendy holiday look, my black faux fur jacket is also from H&M.
