What To Wear in Savannah In February
For my birthday, my sister, Brian and I drove up to Savannah, Georgia for an exciting weekend getaway.OH! And we brought Chance with us, too!
We spent the weekend exploring the adorable city of Savannah for the first time ever! Our weekend included a fantastic stay at The Alida Hotel (be sure to read my entire hotel review here).
While packing for the weekend trip, I stopped by Target (duh) to grab a couple of pieces from the women’s clothing section. Obviously, I needed to find a sweater because the weather said it would be slightly chilly on Friday and Saturday. Boy, I am so glad I stopped in Target! It ended up feeling so chilly at night as soon as we arrived in town. Here you will see my packing list for Savannah and one of my favorite looks I styled with affordable pieces from Target, too.

What To Pack for a Weekend In Savannah?
Prior to our weekend trip to Savannah, I looked into what a typical February looks like for the city. At night the temperatures can drop down to the 50s and during the day you can expect anywhere between 60-70 degrees. While looking at our projected weekend forecast, I was pleased to see that a huge rainstorm would be passing through on Thursday night clearing out before we arrived on Friday. Our timing was perfect as more rain entered the area after we left on Sunday!
Honestly, I was thrilled to experience a drop in temperatures for the weekend. As a Florida girl living in the sunshine state means hot temps all year round, so a weekend away from sweating sounded wonderful. With the cooler weather in mind, I picked out a few sweaters to bring with me.

Just in case, I also layered a nude tank top underneath. Walking around the city in these wide-leg denim pants was a breeze! I’m so glad I ended up buying them after documenting and styling my Target try-on haul. As for accessories, I packed one of my most-loved pairs of gold fringe earrings from Kendra Scott to style throughout the weekend. Of course, I couldn’t leave my house without bringing some felt hats, either. In my suitcase, I packed two hats – one white and one brown. My hats usually come from Target or Free People.
