Affordable Outdoor Dinnerware Under $25
Throughout the last few weeks stuck at home, I’ve been eager to update the outdoor patio in the backyard. Upon opening up a package from HSN and assembling our new Bench 2 Table Convert-a-Bench, I also picked up two decorative outdoor pillows from Target to match the neutral tones of our outdoor seating. In fact, my exact brown and white pillows are currently marked down so you can score them at a new low price of $16.00.
My Target Outdoor Dinnerware Finds
During a recent trip to Target for groceries, I perused the dinnerware section to see what looked new. Within a short amount of time, I picked up a clear pitcher, matching clear plastic cups, and round rattan placemats.
These are just a few key pieces I purchased from my Target trip for the outdoor patio set up you see pictured in this post. The pitcher and cups are dishwasher safe and I washed them prior to drinking out of them. The round woven placemats are an affordable buy at under $6 each. I ended up with 2 placemats. The embroidered jute will also hold up outside or inside. For the sake of my outdoor setup, I included one of my new placements underneath my pitcher and cups.
As of right now, I only have what you see pictured on my Bench 2 Table. I plan on picking up some pretty outdoor Melamine dinner plates and fruit printed bowls in the future as summer approaches.
Iced Green Tea with Citrus Recipe
One of the best drinks for a hot summer day? Iced tea, of course! I’m sharing how I crafted this delicious iced green tea with fresh lemon today. My personal favorite green tea comes from the brand Harney & Sons and the flavor “Citron Green Tea” tastes great in this recipe
- Boil water using a tea kettle or microwave
- Place 2-3 green tea sachets in a microwave-safe cup/bowl
- Pour boiling water over green tea sachets
- Add 2-3 packets of Stevia (or sweetener of your choice) to the green tea
- Allow green tea to steep for 3-5 minutes
- Add ice cubes to the pitcher
- Pour green tea over ice in the pitcher
- Slice up lemons into thin slices
- Add lemons into the pitcher of green tea and ice
- Top the pitcher off with more ice as it melts
- Serve with cups and enjoy this tasty summer drink!

What a great little table with built-in bench. And it has room on the other side for a couple of small chairs. I’m loving all of the melamine pieces that are coming out now. We had melamine back when I was growing up and it was so ugly. I’m loving the fun colors and designs. And the woven placemats are a great way to make a table feel like you’re having dinner on a tropical isle. I hadn’t seen those pillows at Target but they’re so pretty and you can’t beat the price!
