Hi, friend! First, let’s take a moment to appreciate the outdoor decor at this adorable local French bistro. I saw the restaurant pop up on my Facebook feed and remembered that I hadn’t taken the time to visit the spot yet. ALL THE HEART EYES, right?!

The marble tables, blue and white wicker chairs, and spacious wrap-around porch transported me to a Parisian cafe. I’m really glad my outfit fits the part, too. My little white dress receives a 10/10 rating from me. It’s not often that I really, really fall for a simple white dress like this one because I do love printed dresses a lot.

Even though I love printed dresses, there’s something nice about holding onto a basic white one for all seasons.

The Wild Fable mini dress hits just above the knee and feels super lightweight. August here in St. Pete feels incredibly humid outside, but I was at ease wearing this cotton dress for the shoot.

I’m most definitely positive the sweet ruffle details also sold me on this dress at Target. Oh, and the price, too! I can’t leave out the fact that this dress has an affordable $25.00 price tag.

Sizing wise, I chose my usual size medium and was not disappointed at all. I would also say this dress fits true to size.

You can easily add a wicker belt to cinch in your waist or throw over a denim jacket in the fall season as we eventually transition in that direction. My outfit vision for this simplistic white dress included wearing my baby pink Tory Burch bag to add a touch of color.

For my local St. Petersburg residents, you’ll need to add The Left Bank Bistro to your restaurants’ list. Right now this French bistro offers both carry-out and dine-in availability, but I’d suggest calling ahead for outdoor seating.

The French-style fare menu of The Left Bank Bistro features classic items such as Burgundy braised short rib and Duck Confit as well as a lengthy cocktail list. Dinner dates at The Left Bank Bistro underneath the twinkly lights sound magical for the summertime. I’m excited to return to this restaurant for a lunch or dinner meal.

For this specific shoot, I chose to make the look casual by wearing a pair of espadrille wedges from DSW. A fun fact about DSW — you can trade in two pairs of old shoes and they will give you a $10.00 coupon to spend in the store.

I’ve done this a couple of times and I’m so glad I did because I saved a lot of money recently on a new pair of Cloudfoam Adidas sneakers. Check out the gray suede Dolce Vita espadrille wedges that are currently marked down at DSW for under $50.00.
