Hi, friends! Only now does this outfit look appropriate to wear as we enter a new month! At the time of shooting it, however, it was nearly 90 degrees outside in Hyde Park Village in Tampa. My oh my, what we fashion bloggers do for real-time content.

Obviously, not everyone who follows along here lives in sunny Florida, so I wanted to capture the essence of fall/winter style by wearing a new brown Old Navy funnel-neck coat.

Old Navy Coats

By far my favorite piece from Old Navy for this season is the Relaxed Soft-Brushed Funnel-Neck Coat.

As you can see in these pictures, I am wearing my Relaxed Soft-Brushed Funnel-Neck Coat with skinny jeans, over-the-knee boots, and a tunic sweater. I purchased my usual size medium for this classic coat.

This Old Navy coat reminds me of a more expensive option from J.Crew called the cocoon coat. Although the materials are different, I believe the Old Navy coat looks pretty similar to this one here sold at J.Crew for at least $365. I thought spending close to $80 on this coat felt like a splurge!

Yes, the J.Crew cocoon coat has premium Italian double-cloth wool to keep you feeling warm, but this less expensive Old Navy version also kept me feeling nice and cozy. If you want to get a super deal to achieve the J.Crew look for less, go for this funnel-neck coat right now because it’s on sale for under $50.

Old Navy Winter Sherpa Jackets

Moving away from thick coats and onto something else popular for the fall/winter: sherpa jackets! Out of all of the recent Old Navy Sherpa Jackets, the Cozy Teddy Sherpa Long Zip Jacket is a stand-out to me.

I purchased it in a size small because the medium looked too big for me and I am glad I sized down for it! The Cozy Teddy Sherpa Long Zip Jacket for Women runs big so I’d suggest sizing down for yourself.

The exact sherpa comes in white or black and on Old Navy’s website, it’s marked down from $64.99 to $45. The inside of this sherpa jacket feels warm and the jacket also features pockets on either side. The touches of black that outline this sherpa make it look even more trendy and luxe!

Puffer Jackets + Quilted Jackets at Old Navy

Personally, I am not really a puffer vest kinda gal. I much prefer wearing a full-on puffer jacket.

One of the best puffer jackets at Old Navy right now is the Frost-Free Zip Front Puffer Jacket that comes in black or light gray.

These puffer jackets feature warm Micro Performance Fleece as well as Front-Free quilted nylon shell. For $32 this puffer jacket will last you all throughout the winter! Most of the puffer jackets and quilted jackets at Old Navy are under $50.

Just layer a long-sleeve underneath with a pair of skinny jeans and call it a day.
