1. IT Cosmetics Celebration Illumination Power Foundation
I only started using this powder foundation in October, but it has made its way to my top 10 list. IT Cosmetics already makes a fantastic CC+ cream and with this new release of a powder foundation I have created a great makeup base.
This powder offers high coverage without looking cakey at all. I can apply as much as I need to cover up my redness and it does a great job staying put all day long.
2. Bobbi Brown Bronzer
Another bronzer that I’ve loved for years from Bobbi Brown! Even on my super light complexion, the Bobbi Brown “Stonestreet” shade looks natural and sunkissed on my cheekbones.
3. Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40
Supergoop! sunscreen never fails me. Especially their unseen formula that goes on and immediately disappears into the skin. I wore this formula underneath my makeup for most of the year. Even on days when I didn’t wear a full face of makeup I would typically wear this sunscreen by itself.

4. Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation
Tarte as a brand made it’s way onto my radar many times this past year. This matte full coverage foundation was one that I kept wearing again and again.
5. IT Cosmetics Airbrush 101 5 Pc Getting Started Brush Set
I ended up treating myself to a brand new set of makeup brushes a few weeks into 2020. After much research I went to ULTA and picked up a collection 5 brushes from IT Cosmetics.
6. FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer
In the summertime I finally tried a beauty product from FENTY. When the summertime heat rolled around here in Florida I felt like I needed a mattifying primer to keep my foundation on. I liked how this primer smoothed my pores and made my foundation look even all over.
7. tartelette™ in bloom clay palette
The only eye shadow palette I reached for in 2020 was this gorgeous Tarte palette filled with creamy matte and shimmer shades. Every day I took out this palette to create easy eye looks by mixing in 1 or 2 of the shades together.
8. NUDESTIX Nudies Matte Bloom Blush
In the summer I wanted to play around with more cream products. In my discoveries I purchased a NUDESTIX blush. It felt so nice to apply to the tops of my cheekbones in one slick motion! I highly recommend this brand if you are also interested in playing around with cream products.

9. Physicians Formula Nourishing Lipstick
After partnering up with Physicians Formula on a few exciting blog posts this year, I found a lovely shade of nourishing lipstick to wear in blog posts. The shade I wore the most is called “Spice” which has a blend of dark red and brown.
10. Benefit Badgal Bang! Volumizing Mascara
My top mascara for 2020: the Benefit Badgal Bang! for it’s lengthening power and longevity. The long ribbed wand helps create long and beautiful lashes. I tend to build up the volume with a couple of applications.

1. Kiehls Calendula Deep Clean Foaming Face Wash
A facial cleanser that I loved during the year of 2020 came from the brand Kiehls. I ended up buying the larger version of this foaming face wash because it felt like a better value. Even to this day I still have so much more of this cleanser left to use!
2. Farmacy Honey Savior All-in-One Skin Repair Salve
In the winter my skin lacks moisture on my hands and my face. To combat these skin issues, I bought myself a skin repair salve from Farmacy that contains honey and other soothing ingredients. At night I like to apply this product all over my face and my lips to wake up with soft and hydrated skin.
3. Ole Henriksen PHAT Glow Facial™ Mask
During the April Sephora VIB Sale, I picked up a new face mask from Ole Henriksen and felt pleasantly surprised by it! The ingredients found in this facial mask include PHAs and Pink Bentonite Clay to exfoliate and renew the skin.
4. Dr. Dennis Gross Dark Spot Sun Defense Broad Spectrum
Sunscreen with dark spot correcting capabilities are vital for someone like me who suffers from hyper pigmentation. I have post-acne dark spots to heal up.
The DDG sunscreen helps treat hyper pigmentation issues while also protecting the face against harmful UVA/UVB rays during the daytime.
5. Versed Dew Point Moisturizing Gel-Cream
After multiple Target trips I finally chose to give the Versed moisturizer a try. The gel-cream consistency of this product feels super lightweight and makes it easy to spread all across the face.
A few great features of this moisturizer? The calming green tea and aloe vera ingredients as well as the fragrance-free aspect.
6. REN Clean Skincare Evercalm™ Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask
As we all continued to wear face coverings in public spaces month after month, my skin started to suffer. After looking into a calming face mask from Sephora I eventually found one from REN.
This clean brand offers a rescue mask to help with redness and blemishes. It’s been a holy grail product for me and now I use it consistently 3 times a week!
7. First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser
I am lucky to have a spot on the First Aid Beauty PR list so every few months a package arrives for me filled with products! One of their top-sellers is their face cleanser.
I completely finished up the small tube of this face cleanser in a month. It has a creamy lather to it. The cleanser gently removes makeup and leaves my skin feeling fresh.

8. The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
In 2020 I really wanted to finally try out a skin care product from the inexpensive line called The Ordinary. I have gradually added the Niacinamide serum into my night time routine! It’s been a great addition for my skin and my pesky breakouts, too. The $5.90 price also makes it quite an affordable option.
9. Youth to the People Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser
Who else binge-watched all of Hyram’s skin care videos in 2020?! Hyram completely changed the skin care game this past year by bringing his own spin on skin care products and YouTube videos.
I am forever grateful for his rise in fame and his pure honesty. Per Hyram’s suggestion, I ended up buying my first Youth To the People product in the form of the kale superfood cleanser and now I suggest it to my friends!
10. First Aid Beauty Pharma BHA Acne Spot Treatment Gel
When I first received this acne spot treatment as part of a PR package from First Aid Beauty, I wasn’t sold on it. Eventually my opinions shifted and now I use this spot treatment at night to tackle larger cystic acne spots. Check out my original blog post in detail on this product here.
