Express Sequin & Sparkle Outfits for the Holidays

Happy holidays! To kick off the holiday season, I recently placed a huge order online at Express. While browsing online, I felt super pumped to order satin, sequin, and sparkly pieces to style for the holidays. Of course, I had to combine my Express pieces to create dressy holiday outfits to share on YouTube and here on Affordable by Amanda.

For tops, I choose a fuzzy chenille sweater, sequin bodysuit, and a green satin camisole tank top. Oh my goodness did I end up loving each of these items once they arrived! For the green camisole tank top, I did use my favorite steamer to get the wrinkles out before filming.

The pants I bought from Express include a dark silver foil wide-leg pant and a white satin wide-leg pant. Each of these pants are in my usual size medium and run true to size.

What a fun sequin top! Well, it’s actually a bodysuit. I’m wearing the medium here with denim jeans for a casual outfit idea for NYE. Size up if you think the arms might be too tight on you, as I did struggle with that part of the bodysuit myself. This exact sequin bodysuit comes in a silver or black sequin style.

Easily my favorite look from the entire try on haul is this white chenille sweater and sequin wrap skirt combination. The sequin skirt actually features a lot of elastic stretch, too. I suggest sizing down for the fuzzy chenille mock neck sweater. I am wearing a medium here, however, it does have a lot of extra fabric on the sleeves.

Once I posted this chocolate brown sequin mini dress to my Instagram stories, I received so many compliments! I had friends telling me how much they loved this mini dress on me. I am considering holding onto it and wearing it for the New Year to celebrate! The medium did fit me snug in the legs to let you know before you choose a size. I would size up if I had the choice.

With the holiday season in mind, I had to find one green item for my festive Express holiday try on haul. Once I steamed out the wrinkles in my satin camisole tank top I felt so sophisticated with it on! I chose to pair my green cami with the white satin pants. What a perfect combo for a holiday party, right?

If you are looking for a red dress for Christmas Eve service at church, I can’t recommend this midi dress enough! The dress has long sleeves and a long hemline which makes it appropriate for church. You could also easily wear this gorgeous satin dress out for a fancy winter dinner! Throw on a faux fur coat.
