Not only do I absolutely love fashion, but I love playing around with makeup, too. Over the years, I’ve experimented with drugstore and high-end makeup brands. With a cleaner approach to makeup and beauty in mind, I ordered products from the clean beauty brand, ILIA BEAUTY a few months ago.

One of the first makeup products I tried from Ilia is their bronzing powder. It definitely impressed me and hooked me in! Now I am ready to share my top Ilia makeup product recommendations and why I use each item in my makeup routine.

Ilia Beauty features vegan, cruelty-free makeup products in their line up. A lot of their products have won Allure beauty awards for many years in a row. Ilia formulations are safe and organic to protect the skin from free-radicals, sun damage, and allergies.

Ilia True Skin Serum Foundation

Once I enjoyed a few Ilia beauty products, I decided to purchase the True Skin Serum Foundation on a whim. The shade I picked up for my light complexion is “Formentera SF1” which has cool undertones.

So far so good with this foundation from Ilia. After re-branding and switching out the formula, Ilia added skin care benefits to this medium-coverage foundation.

Ilia The Necessary Eyeshadow Palette

Recently I ordered a few new makeup products from ILIA before my cruise vacation. The Necessary Eyeshadow Palette has the best combination of matte and shimmer shades for day or nighttime looks. On our cruise, I only packed this one eyeshadow palette and it served me well!

I wore a few of the golden shimmer shades on my eyes throughout the duration of our trip. I am impressed beyond words with how long-lasting and pigmented these colors are, too. The top four shades in this eyeshadow palette were the ones I wore the most. I own the warm nude palette because I am naturally drawn to copper shades. You can easily blend these eyeshadow shades together for a more dramatic nighttime look.

Ilia Multi-Stick Cream Blush + Lip Tint

After receiving a few Ilia makeup products for Christmas this past year, I knew I wanted to branch out and try out more from this clean beauty brand. I saw that Ilia had relaunched a multi-stick cream blush in a few new shades so I ordered the “Whisper” color that’s a peach pink tone.

One can use the multi-stick directly on her cheekbones to achieve a naturally flushed look. I like to use a fluffy blush brush to get more product on my face with a few generous strokes. All of the color options available for the multi-stick look incredible. I am planning on testing the bronzing version soon!

Ilia NightLite Bronzer Powder

The first product I ever tested out from Ilia is their popular bronzer powder. Since I have very light skin, I went for the lightest bronzer color “Drawn In”. Over the past few months, I’ve raved about this bronzer powder on my blog and Instagram.

It doesn’t take much of this bronzing powder to look glowy and sun-kissed. I take a big fluffy brush and dip into the powder before swirling it onto my forehead and cheeks. The bronzing powder contains finely milled powder that delivers a blendable glow in seconds. As with all Ilia makeup products, this one is vegan, cruelty-free, and talc-free.

Ilia Color Block High Impact Lipstick

A lipstick so nice I bought it twice! The shade I am holding up and wearing in this photo is “Cinnabar”. I chose this color as a dark burgundy red shade. The other shade I have is “Rosette” – a soft pink.

Made with hydrating castor seed oil and mango seed butter, this pigmented lipstick never fades and holds up all day long. Most lipsticks feel itchy and drying, but I am happy to report that the Ilia Color Block High Impact Lipsticks are different than the rest.
