Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023 is starting soon! Last year, I really dove head first into covering the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale on YouTube with a dressing room try on haul, top sellers video, and coverage of the sale on Shop LTK. It was my first time shopping the sale and creating content to share with you in preparation for fall fashion.

With prior experience shopping the NSALE under my belt, I feel better prepared to share outfit ideas with you for 2023. I am excited to curate pre-fall styled looks in a lookbook, take you with me shopping at my local Nordstrom next week, and help you narrow down some purchases.

NSALE Outerwear

I think some of the best deals to consider during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale come from the outerwear section. The NSALE marks down quite a few designer brands like Cole Haan, Michael Kors, and Bernardo. When you look at these designer names you can trust their products to be made of high-quality, long-lasting materials. Outerwear pieces made from real wool can cost as much as $400 without a huge sale like the NSALE to help knock down the price.

PRO TIP: I would opt for a timeless style when you look through the outerwear on sale at Nordstrom. Timeless pieces include plaid blazers, wool coats, neutral pea coats, and trench coats.

My Top Outerwear Picks:

• Double Breasted Water Repellent Bouclé Tweed Coat: it has BOUCLE and TWEED! Can you get more classic than that? 
• Hooded Puffer Jacket: It’s under $100 and looks super warm for the winter season ahead.
• Oversized Plaid Blazer: plaid isn’t going away anytime soon. Plaid will always be a classic pattern to invest in.

NSALE Tops + Sweaters

There are definitely fun tops and sweaters to comb through as the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale begins. I am eyeing a few floral blouses as well as a neutral wrap sweater to style for the fall. I wouldn’t invest too much of your money into printed blouses as these aren’t marked down by a significant amount. Cashmere sweaters and wool-blended pieces are where you should shop for deals.

Tops + Sweaters from NSALE That I Like:

• Babysoft Balloon Sleeve Cardigan: the feminine silhouette and sweetheart neckline are so girly!
• Ruby Boatneck Sweater: comes in a tan or hot pink, flattering boat neck style.
• Sterling Wrap Sweater: looks SO soft and I like the wrap feature to it. It’s also girly and pink.

Shop My NSALE Wishlist

NSALE Bottoms

Shopping for new jeans feels like a lot of work, but when the NSALE rolls around, I choose to try on a few select brands. My favorite denim jeans brands that are part of the NSALE are MOTHER, Kut from the Kloth, AG, and Wit & Wisdom.

Bottoms That I Am Looking At Buying:

• Twill Wide Leg Trousers: classy and sophisticated wide-leg pants for fall
• Faux Leather Mini Skirt: a great material for fall is faux leather! I love the creamy shade to this skirt.
• Canyon Denim Skirt: I am opting for a new denim skirt from NSALE over jeans (I think) and this one looks promising in a dark wash.

NSALE Jewelry

On my personal wishlist for the NSALE I spotted some gorgeous Kendra Scott pieces to pick up. I noticed a wide range of inexpensive costume jewelry all the way up to thousand dollar diamond necklaces! There’s quite a great variety of jewelry for all price points this year in the NSALE. A few high-end jewelry brands that are new to me include Bony Levy and  Monica Vinader. I know a lot of women like to purchase Christmas gifts during the Nordstrom Sale and this would be the perfect time to save on high-end pieces.

• Kendra Scott Layla Beaded Stud Earrings: during the sale these beaded stud earrings will be under $40! I have a similar necklace that will match.
• Nordstrom Crystal Drop Earrings: these are SO affordable for under $25! I like the crystal drop style, too.

NSALE Bags 

Handbags are always a favorite of mine to look through during the NSALE. Brands like Coach, Marc Jacobs, Rebecca Minkoff, and many more are included in this year’s NSALE 2023. A few handbags on my ultimate NSALE wishlist? A creamy white Coach crossbody bag and a taupe quilted Rebecca Minkoff crossbody bag.

NSALE Shoes

With shoes on sale you want to consider your current closet shoe selection prior to diving into the NSALE ones. Do you have a solid pair of ankle boots? Do you own a great pair of running sneakers? Ask yourself these questions before looking through the NSALE shoe department!

Are you looking for a chic pair of knee-high boots for the fall season? Personally, I like to invest in a new pair of knee-high or over-the-knee boots each Fall/Winter season. The NSALE makes designer boots more accessible and in my price range.

PRO TIP: order two shoe sizes! I would get two shoe sizes (if possible) so you can try to find your exact fit. Nordstrom has an amazing return policy where you can easily return the pair of shoes that doesn’t fit you. Obviously, this is only if you can manage to get your hands on two different sizes during the hectic sale.

Shoes On My Wishlist:

• Miller Water Resistant Boots: I have a pair of suede Miller boots and like the look of these beige ones that are water resistant.
• Riau Slouch Pointed Toe Boot: Slouchy boots are a trendy look for fall. Once again these are a cream color so they are super versatile.
