10 Stylish Fall Work Outfits to Try
10 Stylish Fall Work Outfits to Try
1. Satin Blouse and Brown Ponte Pants
The first of 10 stylish fall work outfits to try is one of my personal favorites. A neutral satin blouse should take center stage as a work top in your fall wardrobe. I love how crisp and elegant this one from Scoop looks paired with brown ponte pants from Time and Tru at Walmart. These brown boot cut ponte pants are so good as a work pant because they are comfortable and give the illusion of slacks.
2. Printed Blouse and Wide Leg Trousers
A printed ruffle sleeve blouse gives you plenty of wiggle room to style multiple times over for fall. I found a chic mixed media blouse at LOFT that has a cheetah and floral print. Right now this neutral blouse is on sale for under $15, too! To complete this office ready look I wore neutral wide leg trousers and gold chain mules.
3. Belted Midi Dress
Wearing a dress to the office can feel effortless if you find the right one. Here I have an olive green belted midi dress from the Scoop line at Walmart that does everything I need for a work dress: covers the shoulders, has a nice length, and looks professional. The inexpensive price doesn’t hurt the wallet either because this dress is under $40!
4. Mock Neck Sweater and Beige Trousers
A nice transition top that has gone viral on TikTok is the Free People inspired mock neck sweater that I have on for this next look. I am wearing a medium and I should have worn a small for the sake of tucking my sweater into my trousers so keep that in mind. I do really enjoy the look and feel to this viral mock neck sweater. Get the look on Amazon for under $30.
5. Puff Sleeve Sweater + Brown Pants
Can you tell how much I really love styling these neutral brown ponte pants from Walmart? I can’t get enough of them! Another work outfit idea includes styling a short sleeve puff sleeve sweater with these same brown pants. I love how many different color variations this particular sweater has in it, too.
6. Mock Neck Sweater Vest + Midi Skirt
Midi skirts are also great fall capsule wardrobe bottoms. You can pair printed blouses, sweaters, and long sleeve tops with a midi skirt for a number of cute work outfits. In this look, I am wearing a white mock neck sweater vest with a brown satin slip skirt.
7. Crochet Cardigan + Satin Skirt
At LOFT I found a neutral crochet knit cardigan to pair with bodysuits as an office look. A crochet knit cardigan also makes for a great summer into fall layering piece. You can button the cardigan up or leave it unopened depending on how comfortable you feel to do so!
8. Cream Top + Polka Dot Skirt
Another gorgeous midi skirt from Target with adorable white polka dots! This outfit features two Target clothing items that I really love. Both the cream top and satin skirt are in size mediums on me.
9. Neutral Shirt Dress
I absolutely adore this neutral brown and white floral shirt dress available at Gibsonlook. Since the print to this belted dress has neutral tones to it, I feel as if you can easily wear this into the fall season. Obviously the long sleeves are also ideal for a cooler work day! Gibsonlook runs true to size for me and I am wearing a medium in this shirt dress.
10. Green Floral Dress
A gorgeous dress find from LOFT is this floral puff sleeve v-neck dress that has flattering pleating detail under the bust. For size reference I have the 8 on in this dress. It doesn’t get the love it deserves online! I don’t know why some people are leaving low reviews for this dress because I actually really enjoy it. The length of this floral printed dress makes it work appropriate as well because it lingers right above the knees.
