14 Day Caribbean Cruise Ultimate Capsule Wardrobe
My husband Brian and I just returned back from our incredible 14-day Caribbean honeymoon cruise! We traveled all throughout the Caribbean to brand new countries on a Norwegian cruise ship. We absolutely love the service and hospitality we receive on NCL cruises which is why we continue to be loyal to this cruise line over the years.

We both have never taken a cruise for longer than 7 days before which gave us a lot to consider when packing outfits. For me, as a fashion blogger, I knew I also wanted to take advantage of our beautiful destinations for content purposes to share my outfits with you on LTK and YouTube. With fashion sense and practicality in mind, I have curated the ultimate 14-day Caribbean cruise capsule wardrobe.
You can see in the line up I chose a mostly blue theme across the board. Sticking to a similar color palette will not only making packing easier, but it will help you put together more outfits once you are on your ship organizing your clothes. It also helps that brands like to bring out shades of blue just in time for the spring season! I mixed together new styles from Target, Abercrombie, Amazon, and Walmart.

Tops
Bodysuit – to this day, I still very much love the style of a high-neck bodysuit. As someone with modest style, I appreciate the coverage a high-neck bodysuit offers. With this cruise capsule wardrobe, I think a white high-neck bodysuit would complement all of the bottoms I recommend, too.
Tank Tops – get a pack of 2 or more basic tank tops from Amazon to bring with you. I lived in one of my simple neutral tank tops throughout my cruise. You can wear the tank top alone or underneath your button-down.
Blouse – since most of these other tops are neutral, find a printed blouse to bring some pattern into the mix. I like this blue and cream sleeveless blouse option a lot and honestly I wished I packed it with me for my trip!
Basic White T-Shirt – the effortlessly cool basic white t-shirt comes in handy during a tropical vacation! Wear it with denim shorts, linen pants, denim jeans, or the tailored shorts for casual exploration days.
Sweater Tank – a lightweight sweater tank feels like another great versatile top to pack with you on a Caribbean cruise. The crochet knit material works well for tropical climates as its breathable and comfortable for all-day wear. I chose a light blue one from Abercrombie for this capsule!
Cardigan – I couldn’t believe how chilly some of the days were on board our ship! Even with my dinner looks sometimes I needed to wear my cardigan on my shoulders to keep warm. I like this button front cardigan from Amazon because it looks high-end.
Striped Button Down – A classic blue striped button down will always be a vacation staple. Dress it up a bit with linen pants or dress it down with denim shorts.
Crewneck Sweatshirt – You don’t know how many times I ended up reaching for my cozy Old Navy crewneck sweatshirt on our 14-day cruise! I found myself feeling oddly chilly while walking around on the ship.

Bottoms
Tailored Shorts – add a touch of sophistication to your cruise wardrobe with a pair of tailored shorts. I personally like Abercrombie, Amazon or Old Navy for their selection of sleek tailored shorts.
Denim Shorts (white and light wash) – for 14 days, I think you are smart to bring not only a light wash pair of denim shorts but also a crisp white pair! Denim shorts and white denim shorts work well with the rest of this cruise capsule wardrobe for a casual daytime look.
Mini Skirt – I added in a feminine blue mini skirt for those of you who like to wear feminine pieces. I found this light blue mini skirt from Old Navy that would match with SO many of the tops and blouses I featured in this capsule.
Denim Jeans – as I mentioned earlier, I ended up quite chilly on days on the ship. Jeans are another option to wear for casual nights on board.
Linen Pants – soft linen pants are a must-have pant for cruises. Not only can you easily wear linen pants for an excursion, but you can also double their wear as a swimsuit cover-up.

Dresses
Mini Dresses – you should bring at least 1-3 mini dresses with you on your cruise depending on how much you like to wear them. I am personally a dress lover by nature which is why for my recent cruise I ended up bringing over 10 printed dresses with me! You don’t need to go crazy with THAT many dresses, but I do think a solid amount will come in handy for daytime and nighttime outings.
My Abercrombie Emerson mini dress (seen styled below) was one of the first dresses I packed in my luggage. This style of dress from Abercrombie returns each season and I had to order this blue print for our honeymoon cruise.
Maxi Dresses – Amazon maxi dresses made up a lot of my cruise wardrobe including this blue and green palm printed dress. Check out my Amazon Storefront page for even affordable spring/summer dresses.
Active Dress – an easy outfit idea for a cruise excursion where you’ll be doing a lot of walking around is an activewear dress. The YPB line at Abercrombie makes some incredible durable active dresses that typically come with built-in shorts, too. Check out this blue and white active dress that I featured in the collage below styled with white Hoka sneakers.

Swimsuits
One Piece Swimsuit – pack a printed one-piece swimsuit with you for lounging by the pool or on the days when you head to swim in the ocean off your ship. Abercrombie and Target are where I buy a lot of my swimsuits these days because they are durable and usually on sale.
Two Piece Swimsuit – I found this printed bikini with a matching cover-up on Amazon that will also be perfect for a cruise!

Jewelry
Gold Earrings – in this capsule I chose a pair of seashell earrings and a pair of pearl earrings to dress up an outfit with.
Necklace – a necklace favorite of mine to wear in the spring and summer is this gold initial necklace with beach charms on it from Amazon.
Handbags
Woven Crossbody Bag – a recent purchase of mine is this chic beige woven crossbody bag that looks like one from the brand Longchamp.
Raffia Crossbody Bag – I brought one of my go-to crossbody bags with me on our honeymoon cruise because I knew I needed a bag with easy access to my room card. This adorable neutral raffia straw crossbody bag from Amazon was one that I wore with most of my island looks!
Beach Tote Bag – of course no tropical vacation is complete without a beach tote. I used a large beach tote whenever we went off the ship and had a day pass booked at a resort in town. Shop all of my bags, jewelry, shoes and other accessories in the collage below.
Accessories
Sunglasses – don’t forget to protect your eyes from the harsh sun with polarized sunglasses! SOJOS from Amazon make great affordable and trendy sunglasses.
Sun Hat – the best decision I made while packing for my Caribbean honeymoon cruise is bringing along 2 sun hats. I took a raffia bucket hat and a big floppy hat with me on my cruise.

Shoes
Block Heels – the only pair of dressy heels you need for your cruise: block heels. I personally like to bring block heels with me for dinners on the ship!
Flip Flops – I ended up finding the cutest rose adored flip flops at Target for $10. I wore these neutral flip flops in the spa, by the pool, and on the beach at our resort stays.
Sandals – neutral sandals are the way to go for vacay. Target sandals are some of the best affordable spring/summer shoes to pair with long flowy dresses. Check out these neutral slide sandals that look like Hermes.
Sneakers – don’t forget about a good pair of walking sneakers! Hokas are some of my most loved sneakers and these white ones will go with everything.
