Summer Travel Outfit Ideas

Summer travel is upon us all. In fact, I personally have two exciting trips coming up this August! I haven’t traveled this much in so long. With a couple of plane rides to plan outfits for this month, I am sharing cute and comfy travel outfit ideas for you.

On my travel days, all I want to feel is comfortable and relaxed. Normally I will gravitate toward wearing a neutral matching set for a plane ride. For this reason, most of these curated outfits ended up as neutrals. Recently I picked up a new matching loungewear set for my upcoming trips at Walmart.

To go with my matching loungewear I slip on my Nike sneakers or my pink fashion sneakers from QVC. Naturalizer at QVC makes some of the most comfortable sneakers for traveling. I’ve worn my breathable mesh pair numerous times while traveling. All of my sneakers need to have memory foam for extra cushion to support my high arches.

Walmart Lounge Set

These are the exact sweat shorts that I am wearing in my mirror selfie above. Walmart has some great lounge wear finds for low prices! My neutral colored sweat shorts ended up fitting best in my true size, medium. Walmart also has great over sized sweatshirts like this light pinkish beige one featured in the collage.

Amazon Matching Set + white sneakers

Here is a cute travel set from Amazon. I love the neutral tone to it and how affordable this set is! You can easily carry a cardigan with you to layer with on the plane if you get cold, too. I think wearing this set with white sneakers looks fresh and chic.

Since I’ve been spending so much time on Nordstrom’s website searching for Nordstrom Anniversary Sale picks, I also spent a bit of time looking for comfy loungewear looks to suggest for travel outfit ideas. Check out this pink set from Adidas above! The matching sweatshirt and sweat shorts look super comfy for a long flight, don’t they?

For those of you who need to stay nice and warm on a plane ride I suggest wearing a long sleeve pullover like this one from Nordstrom. Pair your cozy pullover with sweater joggers and sneakers.
