At first glance, the brand looked overpriced and boring to me. I didn’t understand the appeal! During the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, a lot of bloggers post about Barefoot Dreams fashion and home finds.

Barefoot Dreams® collection features popular blankets and clothing made from soft and luxurious fabric. The fabric chosen by Barefoot Dreams® is 100% polyester microfiber for the softest feel ever.

The Barefoot Dreams blanket sells out during the Nordstrom sale almost immediately. I truly didn’t understand the hype behind such a pricey blanket, to be completely honest. Why would someone spend over $100 bucks on a BLANKET? Upon checking into the brand I noted that their iconic the COZYCHIC® Throw Blanket is nearly $150. Oof.

Another couple of Barefoot Dreams top sellers?

CozyChic cardigans featuring their unique blend of CozyChic yarn. One cardigan that stands out as a best seller is the CozyChic^® Lite Long Weekend Cardigan which comes in many neutral colors. Another option that sells for just over $100? The CozyChic Lite^® Long Cardigan. These cardigans both look great paired with relaxed boyfriend jeans and a casual tee. The cardigans are meant for lounging around the house or running errands.

What Barefoot Dreams® Cardigan Do I Own?

In full transparency, I need to note that I have an ongoing partnership with QVC. Therefore, I chose to receive a Barefoot Dreams® cardigan during my September delivery to try it out for myself. Although I received this cardigan in a PR package I still want to give my full and honest review of it for potential buyers who want to know if this cardigan lives up to the hype!

The Barefoot Dreams® Cardigan I am wearing sells exclusively on QVC at the moment. The name of my cardigan is the Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Boardwalk Cardigan and I am wearing a size medium. I chose the color “Pearl” (a bright white) for the fall to pair with many potential outfit combinations.

I am pretty torn about my opinion of this line and the iconic Barefoot Dreams cardigans! I will jot down a pros and cons list to see how I ultimately way when it comes to this Barefoot Dreams cardigan. These are the pros and cons I came up with for this cardigan:

PROS

+ The fabric feels AMAZING. It’s like nothing I’ve ever put on before.

+ This cardigan has pockets.

+ The micro-fringe details elevate this cardigan into a trendy, stylish piece to own.

+ Since the buttery CozyChic fabric feels and looks luxurious, it will last me for years to come.

+ Keeps me feeling warm.

+ Doesn’t itch at all.

+ A great cardigan for working from home in your air-conditioned office space or living room.

+ I won’t need to spend more money on other cardigans because this is THE neutral cardigan for fall/winter 2020.

CONS

+ My top con? The price. At regular price, Barefoot Dreams items will run upward of $150-$200 for one single cardigan.

+ It’s not overtly slimming. The boxy cut of this cardigan can look bulky, but I recommend sizing down to fix this issue.

+ Curved neckline: I don’t personally love this detail, but that’s my personal preference.

Final Thoughts on Barefoot Dreams Cardigans?

Even though the price point of this cardigan feels steep, I do notice more pros than cons. The other day I wanted to shoot some styled content while wearing this cardigan out. I chose to style my summer to fall outfit with a satin cami bodysuit and ripped denim jeans for a cool and casual fall look.

Overall, I do recommend it, despite the high price tag. I also can picture people purchasing this cardigan as a holiday present.
