I am returning back from a quick weekend trip up to Chattanooga, Tennessee for a wedding and couldn’t help but post as many gorgeous shots of the fall foliage as possible. This Florida gal did NOT take the orange and red hues for granted as Brian and I drove around his hometown this past weekend.
Seriously, can you see these bright orange leaves and not feel instantly in the fall mood? I know I did!
Fall Trip to Chattanooga
Throughout our trip to Chattanooga, I wanted to appreciate the colorful leaves as often as I could so Brian and I walked around the downtown area to see what beautiful trees we could find for quick photo ops.
What I Packed for the Weekend
For the trip, I packed lots of layers in addition to my black wedding guest dress. I had to wear my favorite OTK boots on the plane because they couldn’t fit inside my carry-on bag, ha! Made for quite the scene at the security line as I unzipped these tall boots.
I wore my favorite OTK boots on the plane with my Barefoot Dreams cardigan. My new Walmart leopard cardigan also made the trip because I wanted to have a piece that would work for any range of temperatures.

Walmart Leopard Cardigan

Layers upon layers made the trek to Chattanooga with me! Including a new Walmart find pictured here. As I made a final trip to Walmart before we departed last Friday afternoon, I ended up grabbing this leopard print cardigan on my way out.
The shawl collar has to be one of my favorite parts of this leopard printed cardigan! It adds additional warmth around the neck area and made for quite the cozy piece on the plane, too. I have a medium on and it fits just the way I like my cardigans to fit — roomy and a tad oversized for layering purposes!

It’s such an inexpensive buy, too. It’s under $24 and the quality feels on par with cardigans from Target and Old Navy. This brown and black leopard cardigan has thicker material and a relaxed fit. Everyone leaving reviews on Walmart’s website has great things to say about this cardigan.
As Brian and I took Sunday to unwind from a busy wedding weekend, we enjoyed our stay at The Read House and wandered around Warehouse Row for some shopping.
For our walk downtown, I wore a denim mini skirt, a mockneck top, my new leopard cardi, and my favorite faux suede fall boots. The leopard shawl collar cardigan felt so nice and comfortable to wear as we walked through the city. Thankfully, we had the mid-70s for temperatures all weekend long!

Even though the only Walmart cardigan piece I bought was this leopard shawl collar cardigan, there are SO many other cute and affordable cardigans to shop for this season!
