I am excited to share 10 holiday outfit ideas for you that are budget-friendly and festive. All of these looks incorporate recent Walmart fashion finds. With the holiday season in mind I have a mix of dressy and casual looks for work parties, date nights, Christmas mass, and more. Each of these Walmart looks features affordable clothing items under $50!
1. Time and Tru Women’s Velvet Flutter Sleeve Dress
I recently shared this velvet midi dress over on Instagram Reels and it was a big hit! Not only does this dress come in a burgundy or teal green version, but it’s also just under $17. I think if you want to wear something festive that doesn’t totally scream “Christmas” I would opt for a different shade of red like this dark plum.

Here I have a soft and flattering green sweater dress with scallop details on the sleeves and neckline. 3. Time and Tru Women’s Mixed Stitch Sweater with a Satin Skirt
Keep your holiday outfit cute and cozy by wearing a neutral cable knit sweater with a satin slip skirt. These two items are some of my top favorite purchases from Walmart as of late. The satin slip skirt in a stunning burgundy red shade fits nicely with a stretchy elastic band at the top. Size down for the white cable knit sweater as it runs big.
4. Free Assembly Women’s Belted Midi Skirt
One of the first pieces I purchased for the holiday season from Walmart was this plaid belted midi skirt! I wear my usual size 10 for it. You can wear any type of neutral top with this fun plaid skirt. On me I am wearing a soft eyelash sweater from Old Navy.
5. Time and Tru Women’s Ribbed Fit and Flare Midi Dress

Crushed velvet pieces are also popular to wear for the holidays. I found these burgundy wide-leg crushed velvet pants (size M) from Time and Tru that are comfortable, too.

A dress favorite is this plaid shirt dress with a stretchy smocked waist band in the middle. I really like the plaid pattern to this shirt dress as it would be ideal for a Christmas party.
