February Target Try On Haul
February Target Try On Haul
Hi, friends! Another day, another Target run in the books.
I seem to spend way too much time scouring the Target racks these days. Is it crazy to say that I find it relaxing to do these try-on sessions sometimes? If you haven’t already, check out last month’s January Try On haul. When I say sometimes I am referring to late-night runs to Target when I find some seriously great things (ie: last night) and can’t wait to share them! Photographing these try-on sessions can also be overwhelming and slightly embarrassing. My night turns into an adventure. I look through all of the brands to find the latest tops, pants, and sweaters to style in the fitting room. Thankfully, my Target completed renovations a few months ago and the fitting rooms are clean and sleek!
For me, I bring a cart full of clothes in the fitting room and take dozens of mirror selfies styling the outfits head to toe. Some looks require accessories (bags, shoes) and I love picking up a pair of chunky heels or a crossbody bag to create even more of a completed outfit to inspire you!

Honestly, I haven’t been a fan of the babydoll dress trend like everyone else. Whenever I slipped into a babydoll dress in the past I’ve ended up feeling childish! However, this floral printed midi dress changed my mind. The puff sleeves are super cute and the tiered layers are flirty and fun, too. The minty green color also screams springtime to me! I’m wearing a size (M) in this $25 midi dress from Target. Throw on an oversized denim jacket, tan ankle booties, and you’re all set for a classic springtime outfit.

OOOOH I love this jumpsuit. Count me in for anything with stripes. For Spring, I always gravitate to wearing stripes in any form. Striped tops? Striped pants? Striped bikinis? Yep, I need ’em all. A striped jumpsuit needs to be in your closet if you don’t already own one! This one is a size (M) on me and runs true to size, TTS. The mix of navy and tan looks sophisticated enough for a day at the office and can also look dressy with a pair of chunky heels and a white faux leather jacket.

Pants from Target will always hold a special place in my wardrobe. From their denim line with Wild Fable to the cozy knits from A New Day, their pants selection continues to impress month after month. Turning now to these wide-leg cropped pants. A wide-leg pant looks best with a top tucked into the waist. In this look, I chose a dark floral printed blouse to contrast the cream-colored pants. The top is in a (M) and the cream wide-leg pants are an (8). Target has a great selection of workwear tops, too.

Boho-inspired looks have hit the Target floor for Spring. The Universal Thread brand at Target drops new boho pieces each season and this crewneck shirt is no exception. Although shown untucked online, I decided to tuck in this high-neck blouse. I’d add a brown belt to these denim jeans if I was styling this look at home! This exact top (M) comes in white which could be a super versatile piece to own. Unfortunately, I didn’t find the white version inside my local Target for this try-on session. I might order it online!

Wow, here I am with a casual look for once! Normally, I am not a sweatshirt kind of gal. I much prefer billowy tops or long flowy dresses.
While looking through the Wild Fable area, I found this blue striped sweatshirt that read “Good Vibes” in a cursive font. This one is under $20 and I am wearing a size (M) with a pair of $22.00 high-rise straight-leg denim (10). Oh, and a chic $16 bucket tote bag! I paired this cute blue striped sweatshirt with the best denim jeans money can buy. Seriously, if you are looking for affordable and flattering jeans (I mean, who DOESN’T like the sound of that?) then look no further than this pair of denim.

The first top I picked out for this February Target try on haul spoke to me because of the minty green color and floral details. Since I wanted to tuck it into pants, I also found this dark wash denim wide-leg pant. The belted look cinched at the waist for a flattering look. These pants ended up coming home with me (size 10) and I packed them with me for my weekend trip to Savannah! I ended up wearing this pair of belted high-rise denim with my yellow crewneck sweater.

After completely this try-on haul for February, I ended up taking home a pair of belted wide-leg denim and this crewneck textured pullover sweater in yellow. I bought it oversized in a (M) because I wanted the fit to feel looser. The green crewneck sweater looks fab with this pair of cream pants, right?!
