Today I am sharing my honest review of Briogeo Dry Shampoo. Dry shampoo has always had a place in my travel bag. After spending a long day out and about in a new city I love to return back to my hotel to refresh my hair using a dry shampoo. Even though I’m not traveling right now, I still use it to give my second-day hair new life!

Do you know what your hair type is? My hair type falls under the same category as my skin because it’s dry at the ends and oily at the roots. So basically I have combination hair!

When I look for new hair products, I tend to go for hydrating ones that won’t strip my hair and dry it out any further. The same goes for dry shampoo formulas. I need a dry shampoo that will absorb the excess oils at the roots of my hair without affecting the drier ends.

My Rating For this Brigeo Dry Shampoo: 8/10

All three of these ingredients are essential for a dry shampoo that will absorb oil from the roots. As someone who also has fine hair, I love using this product to create more volume where there isn’t any. My hair normally falls flat and I add some of this vegan Briogeo dry shampoo for lift and texture.

The powder of this dry shampoo can be messy at times which is why I downgraded it to an 8/10. I appreciate that its a non-aerosol bottle so it’s environmentally friendlier than other dry shampoo brands.

The ingredients are cruelty-free, vegan, and do not contain sulfates or parabens. After I get a hair cut from the salon I also like to come home and use some of this dry shampoo to prolong my professional blow out for an extra few days.

How To Use This Dry Shampoo Powder

Shake the dry shampoo powder for a few seconds. Next, take the Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Biotin Dry Shampoo and twist the cap to reveal the dispenser. Begin squeezing the center of the bottle and apply the white powder to the top of your scalp. Dispense the powder at least 5 inches away from your head.

I like to apply a tiny amount of the dry shampoo powder and then use my Wet Brush to really get it into my scalp. On super oily days, I will go back in and dispense more of the powder as necessary. I opt for squeezing the tube and adding the powder all around the crown of my head for the best oil absorption!

It’s always key to focus the powder at the roots for optimal results in seconds. This dry shampoo formula does have a white powder that comes out from the top but once you massage it into the roots using fingers or a brush it will disappear and you won’t be left with any residue.
