Feelin’ insanely festive in this look! I recently stopped by Hollister again after my recent outfit success for my trip to the Christmas Tree farm last week. This time I scooped up a pair of stretchy plaid pants in a large so I knew they would fit even with some extra room.
Once my green cardigan arrived from Luca + Grae I pictured the entire look in my mind the night before arriving at Karma Juice Bar for photos.
As soon as I unwrapped my Luca + Grae package I slipped on the teddy cardigan and wore it throughout the night while editing my latest YouTube video.
Not only does the teddy cardigan look chic and on-trend for 2020, but it’s also very warm and comfortable enough to wear for hours! This is my first official order from Luca + Grae and upon putting on this green cardigan I am happy to report that this feels like a great purchase.
6 Easy Holiday Fashion Trends to Try This Season
1. Cardigans as Tops
One holiday fashion trend to consider trying out for 2020: wearing oversized cardigans as tops! As you can see with my own outfit, I chose to wear my new Luca + Grae teddy cardigan as a top with my plaid pants. Normally, cardigans are worn open, but with this trend, you simply keep the buttons in place and wear it as a top.
2. Preppy Plaid Vibes
I mentioned the revival of the preppy vibe back in the Fall and now it continues well into Winter. Check out traditional preppy stores such as J.Crew and Tuckernuck for the best preppy wardrobe finds.
As for how I chose to incorporate the wave of preppy energy, I ended up finding the right pair of skinny plaid pants from Hollister which are currently 40% off! I sized up to a large because I know the store runs according to juniors’ sizing.

3. Accessorize with Festive Earrings
If only my outfit showed off my SUGARFIX by BaubleBar earrings in a better light because I can’t stop wearing them! As soon as the holiday season rolls around I am searching high and low for festive earrings. My favorite brand is SUGARFIX by BaubleBar for Target because they come out with affordable and eye-catching earrings every year.
4. Cozy Sherpa Everything
My ideal at-home look involves plenty of soft and plush sherpa! With a lot of us facing smaller family gatherings this holiday season, it’s definitely the time to feel comfortable while at home safely social distancing. I recommend sherpa-lined teddy coats to do the trick.
5. Cue the Matching Sets
While mentioning the boutique Luca + Grae for its soft sherpa teddy cardigan I should also include the pink matching set I just ordered. Matching sets will also be huge for the holiday season so be sure to check out retailers like H&M, Forever 21, and ASOS to find your perfect match! Ha! See this coordinating set for under $30 over at Amazon.
6. Faux Leather Details
One more holiday trend for this season includes adding faux leather details to your outfits. My handbag that I brought along with me here is a light beige faux leather crocodile printed cross body from Walmart for under $20.
