I’ve been channeling my inner home designer to create outdoor oasis inspiration this past month. Today I wanted to share some affordable Target and Walmart Outdoor Patio Furniture design inspiration with you.
It’s been so much fun curating outdoor patio spaces on Canva. I looked through some new summer arrivals from both Target and Walmart to bring each of these backyard visions to life. Target and Walmart have recently released the most beautiful outdoor patio decor pieces that include durable outdoor rugs, affordable rattan patio sets, and chic pillows.

One of the best finds at Target for any outdoor patio is a chaise lounge. Outdoor umbrellas can run anywhere from $75 and up. Thankfully, this patio umbrella that I found at Target runs for under $100. I chose to add this exact umbrella to most of my Target outdoor patio collages because it’s affordable and has great reviews!

What a stunning rug! I love how this rug features a raised tufted material on top. Once again, this rug has amazing reviews which is why I included it in many of my outdoor patio design concepts here!

Every outdoor patio space needs a few solid side tables. While browsing the new arrivals at Target, I found this Jarden Side Table in a natural/beige tone that would be the perfect neutral addition to any outdoor patio design. The Sandstone tray on top of the wooden base is easily removable, too.

Continuing with a modern patio theme by sharing these rocking chairs I found at Walmart. The 3-piece bistro set has all-weather resistant rattan with a black coating. On Walmart’s website you can choose either blue, red, or white cushions for this set. Personally, I love how the white looks against the black.

A collection that always impresses me at Walmart is Better Homes & Gardens for their trendy selection of home decor. How cute do these white lanterns look to place next to your patio furniture?! You guys, I know these white lanterns are going to sell out fast! Act now before they go out of stock because they are $13 each.
nuLOOM Serna Outdoor Area Rug
The black and white geometrical design of this outdoor area rug from nuLOOM will add a bohemian touch to any backyard. Even the largest dimension of this rug will cost you under $150, too. Can’t pull off a tropical oasis without a colorful rug! Once I spotted this banana leaf printed outdoor rug at Target I immediately added it to my Canva collage. How cool is the vibrant banana leaf print?! I modeled the entire tropical patio design after this rug that you see above!

Since this tropical space features way more color than the rest of my patio inspo, I needed to make sure the accent pillows felt on par with my design concept. Don’t worry I ended up finding the best navy pillows from Threshold to pull together the navy from the gorgeous banana leaf printed rug.

Now if you really want to embrace the banana leaf motif featured in this patio concept, I suggest looking into a faux banana tree. If you are someone like me who can’t keep real plants alive, I think a fake plant is the best approach. I love how tall this one is, too! It would honestly look good indoors or outdoors.
