Boho Office Decor – Updates to My Boho Home Office
Hey, friend! Ever since I initially posted about my home office space here on the blog, I’ve been eager to make a couple of updates. Nothing has changed when it comes to my rattan desk and my velvet pink swivel chair, however, there are major updates to chat about against this back wall.

First off, let’s talk about this beige palm print wallpaper. I’ve been itching to find the PERFECT wallpaper to stick up against this back wall for months now. While searching through Target’s selection of peel and stick wallpaper options, I found this one in the children’s wallpaper section! How crazy!
Not gonna lie, originally I thought this peel and stick palm print wallpaper had a pink hue to it. My bad! Once it arrived in the mail, I excitedly pulled it out of the box and was surprised by the light beige tone.
As soon as this happened I checked back to my order and saw that this wallpaper color was indeed beige. Instead of returning the two tubes, I opted to put it up on my back wall anyway. Honestly, I am thrilled with the final results!
Pro Tips for Applying Peel + Stick Wallpaper
- If you have a long wall, grab a sturdy chair or ladder to climb on.
- Match the end of the wallpaper to the top of the wall.
- Let the wallpaper hang down and slowly peel back the top of the wallpaper.
- Gently press the wallpaper against your wall using your hand.
- Once the wallpaper is successfully pressed against the wall, take scissors and cut off the bottom where the wallpaper ends.
- Move over to the next section of the clean wall.
- Match up the bottom layer of the wallpaper to the top of the clean wall.
- Make sure the new wallpaper matches up with the design of the first wallpaper application.
- Continue this process until you run out of wallpaper.

Another update I recently made to my boho home office space? A new dresser for clothes from my try-on hauls and jeans. Since this space holds many purposes I wanted to add in a dresser for even more storage.
Now finding the perfect dresser to match my style took a long time. Originally, I ordered a light brown dresser from Amazon and it never arrived. Bummer! Thankfully, I found the right one at Target to fit my aesthetic and my budget.
Boho Office Decor: My New 3-Drawer Dresser
For $270, I ordered this brown and white 3-drawer dresser for my boho home office space. My amazing boyfriend took a few hours to build the dresser from scratch. Despite some slight complications he put it all together for me and now it’s a great new addition to my space! As soon as he put it together for me, I stuffed it with clothes, ha!
What’s On My New Dresser
Antique Gold Mirror
On top of my new dresser I chose to angle an antique gold mirror to open up the space a bit. It’s also another way for me to check out my outfit and do my makeup! Although this mirror was something already in our home, I did find quite a few affordable antique gold mirrors at Kirkland’s. Check out this one that looks very similar to the pricey Anthropolgie mirror.
Gold Jewelry Stand
Over the years, I’ve collected a long of gold chain necklaces and now I finally have a cute way to display them! On Amazon I found a similar tiered hanging jewelry organizer that looks like mine for $20.
Pampas Grass in Glass Jars
An obvious decor choice for a boho room? Pampas grass. Mine comes from Etsy and I placed the stems in clear glass jars. You can also shop Pampas Grass at Pottery Barn and World Market.
Rattan Makeup Brush Holder
How cute is this rattan makeup brush holder!? When I took photos for the blog, I was in the middle of washing all of my makeup brushes which explains why the rattan holder looks empty.
Carved Brown + White Wood Frame
Wanted to complete my dresser decor with a wood picture frame holding abstract art I printed off from Etsy. For frames, I always choose Target. I’ve had this exact white and brown boho picture frame for years now and switch out the artwork from time to time.
What Else Is In My Boho Home Office Space
On the other side of my new dresser, I still have my sturdy Amazon clothing rack. The only hangers I use for my clothes are soft velvet ones.
If you are looking for a way to improve your closet or clothing rack organization, I recommend switching out all of your clunky plastic hangers for non-slip velvet hangers! I’ve never looked back.
My clothing rack stores all of my try-on clothes as well as accessories. You can see how I stack my hats in the middle shelf. I am still so glad I went ahead and purchased this popular Amazon clothing rack for this space! It’s not only a great place to hang my clothes, but it looks great in the background for my photos and Instagram Reels.
