Best High Waisted Jeans from Old Navy

When I tell you that I despise trying on jeans, I am not kidding! Jeans are my least favorite clothing item to wear. Most of the time, a single pair of jeans feels tight, uncomfortable, and exhausting to wear for hours on end.

The only pair of denim jeans that I’ve owned for 2+ years now and NEVER complain about are the Old Navy High-Waisted O.G. Straight Ripped Jeans. According to the Old Navy website, the O.G. Straight line features a vintage-inspired mom jean with a slim straight leg opening.

Friends, I don’t know what kind of magic these jeans have in them, but even after washing them for 2 years, the jeans don’t fade. I still can’t find jeans that compare to my Old Navy ones! Even after placing orders to Abercrombie and LOFT, my inexpensive Old Navy straight leg denim jeans continue to be the pair I reach for when getting ready for my day.

Here I am wearing my Old Navy OG Straight High-Waisted Button Fly denim jeans in a size 10. The size 10 fit me amazingly well! High-Waisted O.G. Straight Leg Jeans at Old Navy run true to size. My exact pair have fit me for over 2 years now and running.

As soon as I slid into these jeans from Old Navy, I knew I had found a high-quality jean. These jeans feature a slouchy look throughout the bottom of the leg that allow it to taper into a straight-leg style at the calf. The material feels stretchy and smooth to the touch. With any high-waist jean, you’ll find the top of the jeans hit at the waist with a longer zipper.

This pair of straight-leg denim at Old Navy has an even higher than usual high-rise cut. Old Navy added an additional 1″ to these jeans. I am a fan of the extra rips to these straight-leg jeans, too.

My jeans from Old Navy also have a button-fly closure at the top. You can’t really notice it from straight-on, but the button-fly closure is visible from the side. This might be a feature that you don’t want with your jeans which is why I suggest looking at the other designs I have listed.
