1. White Dress

Everyone knows about the LBD, or little black dress, but what about the LWD, or little white dress? White looks great all year round (in my opinion), but it really shines in the spring and summer seasons. A little white dress makes me feel tropical for some reason! Maybe it’s the stark white that brings out a tan that really makes it work for this time of year. In a recent Target run, I ended up buying a beautiful eyelet little white dress as seen in the photo below. It fits true to size in a medium on me.

2. Espadrille Wedges

An espadrille wedge instantly dresses up a casual look! Every spring I like to invest in a new pair of espadrille wedges and these are an exceptional find from Walmart. Not only are these espadrille wedges neutral, but they are super affordable for $26! I have my true size 10 for these cute espadrille wedges from Walmart.

3. Chambray Shorts

A chambray material features a soft cotton fabric that’s ideal for warm weather. At LOFT, I found my perfect pair of chambray shorts that look like denim but feel lightweight! I have them on in my true size 10. I personally prefer chambray shorts over denim shorts because of their comfortable fabric.

4. Floral Dress

Add some color to your spring wardrobe with a floral printed dress. The one I am wearing in the photo below comes from Abercrombie & Fitch. Even though their prices are normally above average, I wait for a sale to grab a stunning floral dress from A&F. The quality of this puff sleeve midi dress makes the price point worth it! My dress has a purple floral print all over and is also double-lined undearneath. It’s a dreamy floral printed number for any spring occasion.

5. White Button Down

A classic spring item to have in your wardrobe is a white button down. For me, this looks like a lightweight, gauzy beach button down. I found this one at Target for a great deal and ended up packing it for my cruise to the Bahamas last weekend.

6. Neutral Handbag

Most of my handbags are neutrals. I own a few handbags from Walmart that are excellent for everyday errands and also transition nicely for an evening out. One of my favorite purchases from 2022 was this white chevron quilted shoulder bag. As of right now you can still purchase this exact bag! Honestly, it’s been such an awesome purchase of mine and I’ll be using this bag for 2023, too.

7. Neutral Bodysuit

If you need bodysuit recommendation then let me suggest this one from Amazon. I own the white and coffee shades of this chic and seamless bodysuit from Amazon. The bodysuit runs TTS and I wear a medium. It washes nicely and looks fresh even after multiple wears.

8. Straight Leg Denim Jeans

I am not a huge lover of jeans, but when I need to wear some I always go for my Old Navy straight leg denim. Now I own two pairs of amazing Old Navy straight leg denim jeans. One pair is a medium wash while the other is a much darker denim.

Each of these Old Navy jeans washes amazingly well and have held up for years. You’ll see me wear these same jeans again and again because I don’t typically buy new jeans very often. 9. White Denim Shorts

In addition to chambray shorts, I think having a solid pair of white denim shorts would make your spring wardrobe complete. As with denim jeans, I am also particular about my denim shorts. Thankfully, on a recent trip to LOFT, I was able to try on a few different white denim shorts until I landed on the perfect pair. Once again I found a great pair of shorts for spring at LOFT. Mine were even on super sale for some reason so I got my true size (10, or 30) and walked away paying less than $25 bucks.

10. Sandals

Another shoe option for you to include in your spring wardrobe is a pair of sandals. Personally, I like a metallic sandal or a neutral sandal as a versatile shoe. At Target I found the best braided sandals ever! I got them in my regular size and brought them with me on my tropical cruise vacation. I wore them all the time and even brought them to explore the Bahamas on land.
