My Easy Everyday Makeup Routine
Lately I’ve been switching out a few makeup products from my regular routine. Ever since I ordered two products from the Saie brand, I’ve been eager to continue using cream blush and bronzer on a daily basis.
Saie has amazing liquid blush and cream bronzer. For the fall, I think I will be purchasing another shade of the Saie liquid cheek blush. Until then, I’ve been using up the peach shade that I own. For bronzer, the light shade looks wonderful against my fair complexion. The container looks like I’ve barely used up any product, but in reality I use it as my bronzer all the time!
My Easy Everyday Makeup Routine
1. EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46
My morning routine always starts out with a thin layer of sunscreen. Now if you’ve been following along here on my blog for some time then you know how much I love Supergoop! products.
Recently I tried out the popular Elta MD SPF 46 UV Clear and fell in love with it! This sunscreen has no scent, applies easily, and leaves behind no white cast. So far I’ve repurchased two more bottles of this amazing sunscreen from Amazon.
2. IT Cosmetics CC+ Nude Glow Lightweight Foundation
For the longest time I’ve been a fan of IT Cosmetics makeup products. During the summertime I swear by their CC+ cream for a lightweight foundation that looks like skin. IT Cosmetics just launched a new glow foundation that I received in the mail to test out. This new foundation has niacinamide and SPF 40 inside.
The only downside to this new lightweight foundation is the distinct smell of sunscreen to it. If you are sensitive to the sunscreen smell then I suggest opting for the regular CC+ cream foundation. However, once you get past the sunscreen smell you’ll notice how it’s a nice skin tint. On my skin the shade “Fair Beige” looks close to my natural skin color. I have rosy undertones and I like how many color options this CC+ foundation has.
3. e.l.f. Instant Lift Eyebrow Pencil – Auburn
Honestly, I haven’t tried out any new eyebrow products in some time. This $3.00 eyebrow pencil continues to do the trick for me! I wear the shade “Auburn” as it best matches my reddish-blonde hair color. Every morning I color in my eyebrows with this pencil and use the spoolie end to fluff them up.
4. ILIA The Necessary Eyeshadow Palette
Need your next all-in-one eyeshadow palette? Might I suggest looking into this one from ILIA. I don’t even need to use any other eyeshadow palette that I have now that I own The Necessary Eyeshadow Palette from ILIA. For under $38, this is the best travel-friendly palette.
On a daily basis I will put the light brown shade all over my lid. Next, I’ll take some of the shimmer shade and apply that in the center of my eyelids. For a little bit of definition, I will use the bottom dark brown shade at the outer edge of my eyes.

5. Saie Sun Melt Natural Cream Bronzer – Light Bronzer
Cream bronzer has seriously changed my everyday makeup routine for the better! No longer am I using patchy powder bronzers these days. The only bronzer on my face comes from Saie, a clean beauty brand available at Sephora.
On my fair complexion I wear the lightest option “Light Bronze”. It’s no wonder why this balm-like cream bronzer sells out so quickly at Sephora. All I do is take a buffing brush and apply it lightly to the hollows of my cheeks. You only need a small amount of product to achieve a sunkissed glow.
6. Saie Dew Blush Liquid Cheek Blush – Peachy
Back in the day I never wore blush. Now I include it as part of my everyday makeup routine for a naturally flushed look. Another standout makeup product from Saie is their liquid cheek blush. It’s $24 and you get a ton of product for your purchase! Right now I own and love the shade “Peachy”, but I am seriously considering ordering the shade “Rosy” for fall.
Like with their cream bronzer, a little bit of this blush goes a long way. I take the large doe-foot applicator and press three dots of product along my cheekbones. Next I’ll use my same brush that I use for bronzer and begin to blend in the blush drops.
7. Tarte Cosmetics tarteSEA H2O Lip Gloss – Villa
I’m reaching for more pigmented lip glosses these days and Tarte always makes the best options! Tarte Cosmetics has a great selection of lip glosses that provide hydrating, high-shine results. The shade “Villa” has a neutral pink tone and is the shade I have been wearing the most lately. These Tarte lip glosses are also under $20 and will last a long time.
8. MERIT Clean Lash Mascara
I’ve read some reviews of other people not enjoying this mascara, but for me, it’s been a favorite. On most days I switch up between the Merit Clean Lash Mascara and one from ILIA Beauty.
This mascara from Merit never flakes off and lasts all day long. At the end of a long day, I also never experience harsh rubbing on my eyes to remove this mascara! For $26 bucks it’s been an affordable got-to of mine for months now.
9. MILK MAKEUP Hydro Grip Setting + Refreshing Spray
I end off my everyday makeup routine with a few sprays of MILK MAKEUP Grip Setting + Refreshing Spray. I bought this product on a total whim while checking out at Sephora a few weeks back.
Do you also notice how the mini product section of Sephora always gets you to buy at least one thing? After completing my makeup routine, I like to set it all into place with this refreshing spray. The spray locks in my foundation and eye look for an all-day
