Spring Makeup Routine for a Natural Look

Every season I try to add at least one new product to my makeup routine. For my spring 2024 makeup routine, I recently purchased a new concealer from Haus Labs by Lady Gaga that I use under my eyes and for spot concealing. I also have a blush with SPF from Nudestix that I need to talk about because I am loving the flush of color it brings to my cheeks.

Right now I am usually creating a natural looking face with a few key products that I’ll mention in this post. Among the new products that I’ve purchased for my makeup routine, I also like to use my go-to Tarte foundation as a base for my natural makeup look. Sometimes there’s just a great stand-out beauty product that never leaves my routine!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation |  Haus Labs Concealer

1. Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation

A foundation that has been in my makeup collection for years now is the Tarte Amazonian Clay 16-Hour Foundation. I wear this during the spring time when I need a bit more coverage to combat my redness that comes with dry weather. Tarte foundations are always effective at giving me all-day wear so I know my makeup will stay put for hours on end.

2. Haus Labs Concealer

In addition to foundation I also use a concealer under my eyes and to spot correct. Haus Labs by Lady Gaga is a brand that has intrigued me over the past few months. I finally decided to grab a concealer from this line after hearing great reviews on it. This unique concealer also has over 20+ skincare ingredients in it like fermented arnica to reduce redness and hyaluronic acid for hydration. I purchased a light shade, Fair Neutral, to use in conjunction with my Tarte foundation.

3. Anastasia Brow Definer

The Anastasia Brow Definer in Blonde continues to be my every day brow product to fill in my sparse brows. Since I dye my hair blonder, I needed to switch over from an Auburn eyebrow pencil to a taupe one to match better with my lighter hair. Sometimes I’ll use the brow definer and go over with a tinted brow gel that’s also from Anastasia Beverly Hills.

4. Natasha Denona Mini Starlette Palette

Not only does this eyeshadow palette have the right travel-friendly size, but it’s packed with a great amount of shimmer and matte shades to choose from. Personally I use the shade on the far left as an every day all-over eye color. When I want to add some sparkle I’ll choose the shimmer shade to to it and pop that in the center of my eyelid.

This is my first makeup product from Natasha Denona. So far I am happy with this compact eyeshadow palette in the Mini Starlette option. Natasha Denona products have notoriously expensive prices which is also why I wanted to opt for the mini palette over a large one. Honestly, this pretty eyeshadow palette has all the right shades for me to use on a regular basis so I don’t even need a bigger palette.

5. Tarte Sculpt Tape Contour Wand

To create sun kissed bronzed definition on my cheekbones I will take the Tarte Sculpt Tape Contour Wand and apply a few dots onto my face. I’ll also apply a few dots to the top of my forehead. I like how the Tarte Contour Wand comes in a cool-toned shade that doesn’t end up making me look too orange on my pale skin. A litte of this bronzer goes a very long way, too.

6. Nudestix Blush Tint – Pink Sunrise

A brand new makeup product I want to talk about is the Nudestix Nudescreen Blush + Lip Tint. The other day I played around with a few of the Nudestix Blush Tints to see what colors suited me best. I ultimately landed on Pink Sunrise for it’s cool-toned pink shade. This new arrival from Nudestix has a multitude of uses, too.

You can apply the product to your face as a cheek blush, you can add some to your lips for a tinted balm, and you can apply it to your eyes for a pretty wash of color on your lids. When I use Pink Sunrise over my foundation it gives me a slight light pink color with a radiant finish. I am definitely excited to continue using this liquid blush for special events this spring.

My go-to mascara for years now has been MERIT Clean Lash Lengthening Mascara. Even before other brands started to develop their own tubing mascaras, MERIT was the original to do so! Every time I need to wear mascara I reach for my tube of MERIT.

8. Lawless Lipstick – Fawn

Lawless Beauty sends me a few PR packages every year as I am part of their PR list. In one package I received a ton of lip products from Lawless to try out. A color that stood out to me the most is “Fawn” with its peachy-nude shade. You can see exactly how it looks on me in the image below. Lawless lipsticks make the lips feel cushioned, hydrated, and tinted.
