5 Recent Summer Makeup Purchases from Sephora
Last month I ended up online shopping late at night at Sephora. After watching a few of Allie Glines YouTube tutorials, I had to buy myself the brand new Patrick Ta eyeshadow palette that you see here. The copper tones spoke to me instantly. Allie has blue/green eyes like me and therefore I figured these shades would look similar once applied to my eyelids!

In addition to this beautiful Patrick Ta eyeshadow palette, I also ordered the brand new GloWish Multidew Vegan Skin Tint Foundation from Huda Beauty. I ordered the lightest shade, 01 Fair, for my perfect match as a pale gal. Keep reading below to find out which products are hits and which ones missed the mark.

1. MAKEUP BY MARIO Soft Sculpt Bronzer
Makeup by Mario just launched an entire collection at Sephora. Bronzers, powder blushes, and makeup tools are currently on sale exclusively at Sephora. Once again, I’ve got to mention Allie Glines and her YouTube tutorial using the Soft Sculpt Bronzer to really convince me to order one.
With this new bronzer in hand, I’ve been playing around with it all month long! So far so good. It’s a buildable formula so I usually dip back into the palette 2-3 times to get more product. The bronzer beautifully sculpts and adds much needed dimension to my face.
2. GloWish Multidew Vegan Skin Tint Foundation
Next up, I ordered a skin tint foundation from Huda Beauty. Buying this skin tint foundation made it my first product from Huda Beauty to add to my collection. I have to admit that I’ve only put it on a couple of times since buying it.
You can wear the skin tint alone or you can mix some of it into your favorite foundation. For me, I do like more of a full-coverage effect. If I’m going to put on makeup I want it to look flawless, you know? Cover it all up! With this skin tint, I don’t even want to call it a true foundation. The coverage of this product doesn’t hide or cover up much on my face.
My Honest GloWish Multidew Vegan Skin Tint Foundation Review
The GloWish Skin Tint Foundation creates more of a highlighter effect once applied to the skin. Of course, the “foundation” has a light coverage call-out online, but I honestly don’t get any coverage with it unless I mix it into a foundation.
Unfortunately, this product seems to be a bit of a fail for me! However, I did spend close to $40 on it, so I will give it a few more shots before I return it. If you’ve tried this skin tint out yet please let me know how you feel about it in the comments.

3. PATRICK TA Major Dimension Eyeshadow Palette
If I could dream up an eyeshadow palette for myself it would look like this one from PATRICK TA. The mix of matte shades and shimmers you see in the photo above hopefully look as good on camera as it does in person.
All of these warm neutral tones have impressively pigmented formulas. The shimmer shades look great as a nice glowy topper to a matte eyelid. The shades I’ve been wearing the most on my eyes are the two in the center of the palette.
These shades blend out so nicely! Even on days when I don’t feel like wearing a ton of shades I’ll normally wear one of the light brown matte shades all over and call it a day. Let’s just say this eyeshadow palette beats out the competition. It might turn into a makeup fave for the year, too!
4. MERITShade Slick Tinted Lip Oil, “Au Naturel”
Another new brand to me: Merit. This clean beauty brand has everything from a blendable foundation stick to creamy blushes without sulfates or parabens. Although I still want to try out the foundation and the blushes, the first product I bought from Merit is a tinted lip oil.
The shade I went with is a peach-nude called Au Naturel. Some lip glosses can feel sticky, but this one never does! Honestly, I think I want to try out the other shades now that I have this pretty one.
Now I keep a tube of this Merit tinted lip oil in my purse with me on the go. This clean lip product delivers a soft and buttery feeling while providing my lips with a sheer peach color.
5. Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow Primer
To keep my stunning Patrick Ta eyeshadows from creasing, I typically apply this Too Faced primer first. Without a solid layer of eyeshadow primer on my oily eyelids my shadows would slip and slide right down!
Much like a face primer keeps your foundation in place all day long, so does an eyeshadow primer. I truly didn’t know what to expect from this product, but I’ve been highly impressed ever since I started using it!

The lip oil and the eyeshadow palette look lovely. I am really into neutrals lately and the oil seems like it would hydrate dry lips well!
